Gutted. Such a great studio undeserving of this. And ironically, this occurs at the heel of Sony annoucing a strategy of increasing software to offset the price increases cause by the ram shortage.

Actually, there *is* a remake of HL1 (called Black Mesa). And although technically not a remake, HL2 is currently undergoing the "RTX remix" treatment, though that's probably more of a marketing push for Nvidia cards.
Among all else, it's insane to see that the digital edition is now a hundred bucks more than what I paid for the disk version back in '21.
