Let me see, I only have 5 Wii games... Paper Mario, Zelda TP, Metroid P3, Monkey Ball BB, and Resident Evil 4. I do plan on getting Zack & Wiki, Nights Journey of Dreams and in addition to Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. I do have about 30 virtual Console games though. There's a ton of garbage/shovelware games out there but Wii owners have plenty of good games too.
However, one of them gave me the RROD (3 weeks ago). I just got it back and it was one of the newer models (with an HDMI port). It was a nice surprise.
Good read
Athough the only other Ace Combat I've played is part 4, I'm enjoying this one. I'm not and expert on this syle of game though.
The Situation was no different Last Generation when the Xbox was more powerful than the Playstation 2. Though the original Xbox was more powerful, the average user couldn't tell the difference between most multi-platform titles. I do own a Playstation 3 for the occasional Master Piece. I felt that Gears of War was the Best Looking Xbox 360 title Last year but in my opinion, BioShock is better looking. Both are better looking than anything currently out on PS3.
I've seen Kill Zo...
These are truths about Playstation 3 development supported by the constant delays and inferior ports of Xbox 360 games. Time and time again, you hear this type of news from developers. Developers can tell you this until they are sick in the face and most of you fanboys will continue to deny it.
It's been well documented that the Playstation 2 was the weakest of the 3 last generation consoles. The PS3 does have more peak performance over the Xbox 360 but what we learned from the last generation is that it's not the hardware that makes a good system, it's software. The most powerful hardware on the planet is worthless unless it has software to support it. That's where Microsoft has Sony beat. Plus, there is one thing that most people over look, Microsoft has more money.
From what I understand, it's going to run at 60 fps and 1080p. I can't wait.
What are you? A 12 year old?
mag-lev shadow, yes! I've bough Just about every game from third party companies I love to show my support. I own a video game store. I can have whatever the hell I want. My post isn't targeted at the 10 of you have 15 games. It's targeted at the other 2 million that only own 1 game.
It looks as though most of you don't care and that's the problem. Most PS3 owners mention the same 5 games over and over. Third party games are failing to sell on the Playstation 3 (and 1st party too, no one bought Folklore). You guys don't go out and buy games. There and a good number of third party titles that will fail on PS3 and you guys are letting this happen. Third Party support isn't failing you, you are failing to support third parties.
American's don't like to wait for games. Europeans, they have to wait months and sometimes years longer than Americans for games. So it probably doesn't bother you to wait for PS3 games. America is the largest market in the world. And what happens here, dictates what happens in Europe.
If you really want to support your system, go out and buy games today. As for myself, I'm picking up: Castlevania for PSP, AceCombat 6 for Xbox 360, Tomb Raider for Xbox 360 and Conan for Xbox 360.
Well said Jakedoe, bubbles for you.
These articles make PS3 Fanboys seem pretty desperate.
Even with twice the sales, do you realize how long it's going to take for PS3 to catch Xbox 360 in Europe. Xbox 360 is still more than 2 million system ahead. However, (in Europe) Playstation 3 has almost matched the amount of Units sold in the United States and that's fantastic for Sony of Europe.
You might be right, Sony is Packing Spider-man 3 with the PS3, so they will count those as units sold through.
How does crap like this get approved. It's old news.
It's obvious that the PS3 is doing fantastic in Europe. It's a tough market and Sony of Europe should be proud of what they've achieved.
I wasted 7 minutes of my life watching this video... UGH!
