I'd rather remain anonymous, I'm not a troll, I just prefer to be anonymous when playing an online game. I'd prefer it if a chick I'm dating didn't Google my name and see me having a serious discussion about balance issues because of *insert WoW item*.
Progamers are rockstars in Korea. They have multiple television networks devoted to gaming.
Folklore should be on that list, it was a great game and with all the stuff you have to find, seems perfect for trophy support. I would play it again if trophy support was added.
I still can't believe trophies haven't been added to MGS4. I'm not a fan of the series, but like the article said, that game is perfect for trophy support.
@Guntrol, there's a slight difference in that the PSP was marketed towards a wide demographic and the announcement of the Hannah Montana PSP at E3 was somewhat tongue-in-cheek. Also, the games released for the PSP were never dumbed down to cater to any specific demographic. Whereas, right now, Kinect is being marketed towards tweens and family only. If the only PSP released was pink, you might have a point, but that's not the case.
What I find hilarious is that the Wi...
BakedGoods: Innovation simply means creating something new, it has nothing to do with creating new revenue streams. Starfox on the SNES was innovative. You're right, it was a natural progression for game design, but doesn't mean it wasn't something new a.k.a. innovative.
Online Multiplayer - How can you not think playing Doom over a phone line in the early 90's is considered innovative? I think you're too wrapped up in what occurs today, rather then puttin...
If it's a game I know I'll be playing, I may just check the score out of curiosity. I won't read much into it, because I don't want to change my expectations of the game or read any type of spoiler. I read reviews when I'm thinking about getting a game and I want to know if I'll like it or not.
I'll eventually buy Move, but I'll be waiting until some quality titles are released for it.
So, anytime we support anything, we should change the subject and shout about how there are starving kids in Africa? I can see it now:
Person 1: "I like that new phone service." barakiu: "BUT THERE ARE STARVING PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!"
Person 1: "The Red Sox are doing alright this year?" barakiu: "YA, BUT DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE STARVING PEOPLE?"
Also, you steal games because of people that starve to death? That's weird...
I was a party host for Windows 7, I ended up getting a free copy of Windows 7 Signature Edition(Ultimate) and a free year of Norton Internet Security 2010. So, I'm definitely signing up for this. I wonder how many party packages they're giving out.
It's funny how so many people here turn a tongue-in-cheek article into a serious discussion. You really think the author didn't know the Genesis wasn't true HD?!
They didn't really "bash" the 3DS, but made a comment on the tech. I love the Kevin Butler video from the future and his comment about how you box on the Wii. I think this was Nintendo's way of getting even for that video. I also think it's a good thing, as it may help further the glasses-less 3d tech.
That's kind of funny, I regret owning an Xbox instead of a PS2. There were only a few games I really liked that weren't already on or headed to the PS2; Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath and KOTOR are the only games that come to mind.
Nope, I got it through GameFly, I played through the entire game. The entire game is pretty much exactly what you see in the Bourne Identity movie. Have you not seen the movie? The combo system is awful, you have two attack buttons and a quicktime button and every combo is three hits of a button. Also, what you show are "awesomely brutal" quicktime events.
I'll be getting Plus, mainly for the beta invites and free games every month. I don't buy a whole lot of games on the PSN, so this works out great for me.
The Bourne Conspiracy is not worth playing, it's a complete remake of the Bourne Identity movie. The fighting is cool at first, but after a short while, you see that there is very little variety.
I could seriously care less who's in first, second or third. What I do care about is that Sony is finally getting the attention it deserves from 3rd party devs. Now, with all the exclusives and better quality ports coming out, I'm really happy I went with the PS3 instead of the 360.
I never would have beaten 3d Dot Game Heroes, 3 times. I would have finished the game once and still really enjoyed it, too. But, earning the Plat made me enjoy the game so much more.
I don't normally care about Achievements/Trophies, but I'm glad they're there. In the end, it lets you get a few extra minutes/hours/days out of a game. As long as you enjoy playing that extra bit of time, there's nothing wrong with it.
I enjoyed Brutal Legend, it wasn't the greatest game ever, but it was better than most run-of-the-mill fps/strategy/rpg games being churned out by larger devs. And then there's Psychonauts, still one of my all time favorites. So, I'm really looking forward to what Double Fine is doing next.
I can't complain, considering they pay $18-31 more per game than the US.
Same here, I never would have touched AoZ without PS+, but I'm glad I played it. That game was a lot of fun.
