@Quagmire: There are plenty of moments in a game where your hands aren't needed. Waiting to respawn, loading screens, waiting for the group to get ready... You just hold the controller with one hand and use your other hand to reach over and grab the food and take a bite.
I can remember playing a lot of SNES RPG's and thinking, wow, this is theft... as I take an elixir from a grandfather clock. And destruction of private property as I smash so many vases in Zelda games.
Now, the genocide I hadn't really thought about.... Those poor little peons in Warcraft games.
At least he can write in complete sentences. What are you mad about, anyway? Should we not discuss what some of the better game developers are talking about on a gaming news website? Or should we limit all of our discussions to people that are considered the smartest in the world? I don't think there are too many Hawking-type minds that are into game development, so those discussions might be pretty sparse.
I bought a used Wii from Amazon for $100 a couple weeks ago, the thing looks brand new and I haven't had any trouble with it. There's usually nothing wrong with buying used, you just have to read reviews of the seller and see if they have a decent warranty with a return/refund option. Personally, I'd never buy a 360, much less a used one. But, other consoles are OK used.
I'll always be a fan of Knights of the Round from FFVII, when you see 13 massive beings come out and deal for massive damage, it was pretty amazing for the time. Also, the first time I saw Ifrit in FFVII, I was in awe, I immediately wanted to know what the rest of the summons were going to be like.
So far, I'm happy with PS+; I've played a good many hours of WipeOut HD, Age of Zombies was a blast, and I watched some good video on PS Move through Qore. Field Runners was alright, I'm just not a huge fan of Tower Defense games. I beat the first stage on easy with only one copter squeezing by. Maybe I'll give the other levels a try. Rally Cross was the only let down for me, I tried it and would rather play WipeOut. Anyway, if I get another month with equal content, I'll ...
@T9X69: Sorry, for some reason I didn't see that you were replying to someone and I thought you were trolling. I was just being facetious, saying that Joe Danger had scored higher. And I was wrong about Metacritic, it's GameRankings that has the higher score. So, my post failed all around.
@T9X69: Not according to Metacritic and the Gamespot User Score. Also, the title of this article is: "The 3 best summer PSN games," notice the letters PSN.
The Shoot has you dodge and duck for cover.
It could potentially have a niche market in hardcore RTS and point-and-click Adventure games. RTS games could be really cool, using hand movements to select and deploy units. However, I still see a problem if they can't tone down that input lag while playing. RTS games are worthless if you have to wait a full second after every command so it can register what you've done.
Scribblenauts came with a rooster hat, which was a great pre-order bonus. I still regret not pre-ordering it.
Oblivion was a great game, but I just don't see it as a number #1. For me, the Oblivion realms felt tedious with little variety. It would have been nice if they had changed up the scenery a bit and added some different enemies or something. That would have given us a better reason to visit all the realms.
FFVI should always be on a list like that.
I think this had more to do with their decision then the petition.
"Blizzard's Bashiok first victim of the Real ID
According to the website Gamona, Blizzard community manager Bashiok posted his real name on the official World of Warcraft Forums, in an attempt to defend the controversial Real ID. Within minutes, forum users revealed all the important stages of his life, his phone number, address, age, preferences...even the name of his wife and the sc...
I don't know, Rainbow Road especially on the N64 was never that bad, just long. Yoshi Valley on N64 gave me way more trouble than Rainbow Road, Bowser's Castle in just about every Mario Kart was pretty troublesome, too.
@Colonel-Killzone: I totally agree, I used to do tech support for a few different websites and the Mac people were by far the worst group I had to deal with. They were so arrogant and pompous, I hated getting Mac calls.

I see Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast on that list, such an awesome game. I've been thinking about getting it, so I can play it again.
The Move section of Qore had some great video, too. It really showed the potential of what Move can do. I'd never seen Qore before yesterday, I have to say... I like it.
@OSU_Gamer:
"The fact still remains that even though you can have as many accounts as you want for PSN, XBL still has more paid subscriptions."
I'd love to see where you got those numbers, because everything I've read tells me the opposite. In January 2009, PSN and XBL both had 17 million accounts each. Considering, the PS3 has sold better worldwide every month, it's safe to assume the numbers have risen accordingly.
That's funny, I found a pair of red and blue 3d glasses a couple weeks ago. I remembered Rad Racer having 3d, so I tried it out yesterday, but damn was I disappointed. The 3d didn't match up at all, the red and blue were separated too much and the game kept going in and out of "3d." The whole red side would disappear at times. You have to wonder what their thoughts were for even leaving it in the game.
