lol @ running with the bully title. It's funny because it's true in the most ridiculous way imaginable.
Thank you. Bubbles for you.
I'm so tired of the people sticking up for these greedy dastards with stupid comments like "It's just business"
It'll always be about the "bottom line" but doesn't mean we have to stand by idly while they rape our wallets and churn patch-worthy releases that's just a texture-remap of the previous year's outing.
Dang, some of the stupid people on here are proof of w...
This is a pretty cool game. Astral ship battling is like flying submarines in space.
Man, I've gotta give you bubbles for that one. Spot on.
Reminds me of the Godfather 2....
I walked into this one place and all of a sudden a bunch of topless chicks were walking around. I was almost considering bringing it over a friend's house until I encountered that bit and realized his kids probably would would need some talking to afterward if they walked in on that.
I don't mind if a game has sexual content/references/themes, but when it's done blatantly then it becomes a bit of a plea for a...
That made me laugh.
Yeah this game looked like a stinker.
You don't care about Batman Arkham City, Mass Effect 3 or Elder Scrolls V???
This doesn't even look like SSX anymore. I can't even imagine doing the Superman on a snowboard in a game like this.
At least they're doing something different and it's not a Tony Hawk retread or whatever.
Well, the same was said of Resistance 2 and Gears 2 and we all seen how that turned out.
Uncharted 3 will probably walk away with more awards, acclaim and better review scores but MS pwns at marketing (i.e., see Kinect) and they'll just walk away with double (or triple) the sales of U3 and a game that requires three or four patches just to play the multiplayer correctly post-release.
If third-party devs never bother with PS Move or Kinect wouldn't that mean we would be left with first-party motion-based games?
Personally, I don't like the whole motion thing but it is the way forward...especially finding useful, core-centric roles for the devices since they're here to stay. And I would prefer if third-party devs made use of the devices in core games rather than switching to making casual games in order to appease to the casual gamers who buy...
Wow, the fanboy is strong in this news post. It probably has something to do with something else.
MS couldn't give a rats behind about quality, as everyone knows they're about sales and Kinect sells, Xbox 360 sells, Halo sells and Gears sells. Even if the game gets squashed next to Uncharted they would show it anyway so they could start marketing it on soda cans and toothpaste.
That makes sense. Only thing is, most people didn't/don't see the logo so it seems like kind of a waste.
Also, I thought trademarks were only referenced when they're used in some capacity....or simply having the game on an MS console means they have to dump in all the logos? Seems weird because some games have it and some don't.
Aren't these devs always doing this though? Saying one thing won't be in the game or a game won't be coming to a system (i.e., Bioware said Mass Effect 2 wouldn't be on the PS3, Rockstar stated that the DLC was Xbox 360 exclusive for GTA IV, etc., etc)
If the rumor broke before it was supposed to be announced wouldn't they deny it to their grave?
Still, too bad it won't be using Kinect.
Most games this generation have been ported to PC from the 360, and most DON'T support mods.
I wouldn't hold my breath after the epic fails of Saints Row 2, Stranglehold and GTA IV being hot messes on PC.
Seems kind of cool. Most times modders come up with better uses for products than the original designers. That's always funny.
Rumors circulated before about Halo using Kinect, and Gears 3 using Kinect in limited roles....such as throwing your arm to toss a grenade or putting up your hand to interact with consoles/keyboards/etc.
The game is a mixed third-person/first-person title so it's possible that Kinect could work if used correctly. Especially for some of the melee combat.
@Cevapi88: I wouldn't begin to understand how it works either but I'm sure Microsoft and E...
That's the way it works in [corporatist policed] America:
Whatever they market with the most money is what the sheeple will buy.
Gotta love a country living under the guise of a fascist feigned freedom regime. Heil Corporatist America!
I'm a huge Forza fan but I will admit GT5 looks better in the overall package. The shading, interior and reaction of the vehicle is just better in the overall package.
But graphics doesn't mean everything and GT5 DOES NOT look a million times better. That's fanboy talk right there.
Why is it so hard for people to be fair and honest about games these days?
EDIT: Besides, a million times better is comparing GT5 to GT1...now t...
Activision CEO crying much or people tired of their crap crying much?
Great way to exemplify the intelligent line of thinking today's generation of gamers can exhibit there, ace.
