"there weren’t a lot of other gaming titles to help propel the market forward for retail PC gaming"
So what other retail PC games were you buying, dude?
Oh F*** No!
"I doubt they would have time..."??? Are you trolling or something?
Seriously man?
They have all the time in the world, it's a multi-billion dollar franchise they can do whatever the heck they want, whenever they want with the franchise.
No, Activision CHOOSES to not give the devs time to iron out new features for the series. I don't even bother with COD because it doesn't have destru...
First off...this game rocks! Can't wait.
Anyway, to answer your question you should try the EVGA OC 460 GTX, which you can pick up for about $150-$180, and it'll let you play just about any new game on the highest settings.
You should be able to grab an 8800GTX Nvidia card for about $50 for a desktop PC from ebay if you're strapped for cash.
Yeah I think the Deus Ex trailer is more poignant and emotional and that's the difference. Out of the two the Deus Ex has something people can relate to in some sense while the DC trailer is full of action and iconic heroes.
@pwneddemocrat
Sorry dude, YOU ruined the joke...you were supposed to reply and say:
"Nah, feminists wouldn't have been angered because she already ate out earlier in the day."
Entirely agreed. The trailer is above and beyond any game I've ever seen.
It seems more like the spiritual successor to a movie like Blade Runner...in fact, I'm going to go as far as to say that if this were a standalone movie I would be more amped to see it than any other film of 2011.
Edit: Oh yeah, and the gameplay trailer they did release for the game looks pretty much like the CGI, which is no easy feat. So huge props to Eidos Montreal.
I'm pretty sure the Elite didn't have time to park the Banshee, hop out, run over and T-bag her...it would also probably offend a lot of feminist groups.
Please good sir, explain to all us "American kids" what makes this particular trailer the gayest you've ever come across? Either you don't watch many trailers or you have a funky definition of "gay"...unless, you're saying it's happy? In which case, I'd still have to disagree.
This was the trailer that the game launched with. So technically, that's a 2010 launch trailer.
So you're basically saying if food companies feed you turds and they sell, then they should keep feeding you turds? Interesting.
EA is on the road to redemption, they shouldn't stoop to company bashing....leave that to the gamers.
They just need to focus on making good games and keeping their mouths from getting themselves into hot water...speaking of which...
Burn Activision...burn...
That's why I like Battlefield, Operation 7 and MAG....they're team based shooters where you can exploit people running and gunning use Black Ops tactics.
I recently played Battlefield Play4Free and it's amazing how much more organized and intense it is than Black Ops.
Being fixed is the problem.
GTA IV took a vastly different step in character/story direction than GTA SA but PC gamers suffered for it with a poor port.
The new CoD can be as cool or as exciting as ever but if the playability is broken with numerous bugs it's just Black Ops all over again.
Bubbles....that's hilarious and just about every gamer would know exactly what they're getting at.

Anyway, to get back on topic most people would not want to see companies go down the gutter but would prefer to send a message to publishers who purpos...
Dude are you serious? Seriously?
Activision closed down Budcat, Bizarre, Infinity Ward and a bunch of other studios AFTER the success of games like Modern Warfare 2 and their merger with Blizzard and the infinite funds that WoW brought (and continues to bring) with it.
Activision, whether successful or in financial dodo, would fire and close down studios so they could bankroll bigger checks, regardless.
It's people LIKE YOU who say ...
Well said.
Now you just have to convince 21 million other people of that :)
These controllers ALWAYS look awesome but usually break after a month or two of hardcore gaming.
Someone needs to review this thing and see if it holds up.
Hmm, I prefer artsy games because sometimes they can be on a low-budget but engaging...like Limbo.
Doubt it.
They'll just raise the filtering (more than likely) to sharpen up the textures like that.
While the video says pre-alpha it's completely unlikely the game will undergo any visual changes if it's going to make the fall release deadline.
