Dude wtf are you talking about? Get a new apartment? New electricity company? Where do you live where you get all these options catered to your needs?
Most jobs these days barely pay $8 an hour, most rent these days costs between $450 and $600+...electric bill averages between $75 and $150 for most people. So how is it his friend's fault that trying to survive in America has become a puzzle game in itself and somehow he's trolling?
Yeah i'm just gonna stick with old games. At least there's no worry of being net-raped while you play "...oh we didn't tell you, that's an extra $5 if you want to play over LAN...tehehehehe...."
This game pwns so much!
G1 did a remarkable job.
Just about everyone in-game will whine and complain like a little girl but that's because someone HAS to lose.
Instead of grinding on mobs you grind on other players. It's badass.
First-person shooter, $49.99...
High-end gaming controller, $39.99...
5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound headset, $79.99...
Knowing where your enemy is just by hearing their footsteps, Priceless.
Apparently you don't like competitive multiplayer RPGS either, because try playing Allods Online and get high enough in level to get aboard an Astral Ship and most captains will kick your arse off faster than Rumsfield resigned if they find out you don't have a mic. Team coordination and fast-paced reactions from the crew aren't just essential, it's absolutely necessary.
Any competitive game out there, even racing games (try doing a Team Escape on NFS World on...
WTF is up with all these people disagreeing with anyone who says headsets are hot?
It must be some angry child who gets pwned because he doesn't have a mic.
Yes!
Coordinating in fast-paced action games via voice as opposed to typing everything out makes a huge difference, especially in games like Battlefield and APB: Reloaded.
Better late than never, I say. That controller looks awesome.
I hated Tron Legacy but the visual art design and soundtrack were straight-up sexy.
I just hope this controller isn't like MadCatz crap, where it breaks after a week or two of using it.
@N4SIR
WoW has been around since 2004 and...Blizzard has that ridiculous cash shop. So yeah, they're cleaning like crazy.
Not mention, they make billions on each full-priced expansion pack, which kind of seems like thievery, but whatever.
I believe Blizzard's 10 billion dollar castle secretly overlooking the Earth while stationed on the moon disagrees with you.
@Dlacy13g
I never said people didn't buy it...just suggested homeboy up above forgot what it tasted like.
That made me laugh out loud.
Funny because a new Street Fighter IV just came out...Hyper-Expensive-We-Need- Money-From-PC-Gamers Edition.
That's what Activision is doing.
Maybe you forgot what fail-pie tastes like, but you can buy a new one each year and it's called Call of Duty.
1. Destructible environments
2. Massive playfields to prevent spawn camping
3. Operable vehicles for four or more players
4. Team-based tactics and strategic thinking
5. Physics-based weapon effects
6. Being able to shoot through walls, breakable objects
7. 30+ more players on the PC version of Battlefield games
8. Frostbite 2.0 (enough said)
Do you want me t...
The Samaritan demo disagrees with you. :P
Because Battlefield 3 doesn't look like that on consoles <_<
THANK YOU. I couldn't have said it better myself.
A lot of trolls don't seem to understand "Real time". None of that stuff was CGI and yet people are like "Meh...whatever".
Man, there are some dense fanboys on N4G.
If next gen is two years from now (2013) the 580gtx will be old news by then and a heck of a lot cheaper than it is now.
I'm not sure why gamers are never forward-looking.
@fluffydelusions
All the resources were in-house so for Epic it shouldn't cost anymore than it would to make Gears of War...maybe less, depending on the voice talent, etc.
Remember, games can look waaaaaaay better than they do now but the tech is holding back a lot of stuff like real-time physics simulation, clothing, AA, etc. So most recent games are actually scaled back for the sake of the hardware. It's also known as LOD scaling.
I know right? Total nub.
There's nothing in any new shooter coming out that Battlefield 3 just doesn't seem to do better.
By comparison, Rage looks like a less interesting version of Borderlands and Modern Warfare 3 is actually Modern Warfare 2 with new perks/killstreaks/rekins.
Let the drones, sheep, nubs and noobs have their games. I'm getting BF3 because it actually moves the industry forward and I'd rather be there than s...
