but also seems a little unnecessary.
you didn't check out the part where you don't have to buy anything and can use it for free?
If you don't have a 360 or a high-end PC then I think it's cool that you can play Mass Effect 2 on a low-end PC through a browser. It's mildly inconvenient to have to be online but that sure beats needing an Alienware PC just to run the game on the high settings.
Because Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect 2 and Assassin's Creed II are crappy third-party games that no one cares about.
/Sarcasm
But if Onlive has an affordable price we can kiss the 360 and PS3 goodbye.
The Wii won't be harmed by OnLive unless it can imitate cheap aerobic rip-off titles with motion-controlled properties. But I doubt that'll ever happen.
gaming second? Hmm...that's interesting.
I suppose a lot of the fanboys should go hit up some Tolstoi and Schopenhauer, then. :P
After the XBL thing...and no every game has me running around getting addicted to those darned achievements. At least it improves replay value.
Nice read.
and Double Dragon, among other titles, are still fun to this day. Good review.
like any other job market. Only the top devs are making top dollar while a bunch of other people are slaving away hoping their game garners enough returns in sales to keep their studio alive.
Oh, and all those ads about "You could be a game designer...", well unless you join any of the top-tier studios like Lionhead, BioWare, Epic, Bungie, Naughty Dog or Turn 10 then you'll just join the statistical 30% the article talks about.
for thursday...nice.
non Halo gamers took the poll, what would be the difference?
is the wave of the future. Too many "okay" games require subscriptions (i.e., Age of Conan) while other games are free and are sometimes great (i.e., Allods Online).
the fanboys will be pleased.
written. Too bad half the teenie boppers on N4G won't bother clicking on it. I don't think it has enough flames burning under it.
It looks like a game worth checking out. Too bad PC gaming is still dying.
That's mouth watering news right there.
this game is just getting ripped to shreds almost everywhere. I think my opinion of this title is now being affected.
With all these uberly mixed scores this means only one thing:
Some reviewers are lying about this game.
you're voting with your wallet and telling the industry we really need more story-driven shower scenes and lots of strip-club fan-service to drive the emotion and storytelling in gaming to the next level. Good for you.
It should be a public job there are a lot of idiot parents out there.

Anyway, I wish some of those buffoons would keep their kids off the 'M' rated XBL titles (and some PC games) where their little foul-mouthed 12 year old runs amok with all sorts of racial and sexually derogatory language.
Apparently someone is doing something wrong when it seems like there are a bunch of little kids playing mature games and funking up cyberspace with their bratin...
