Try playing Vice City again....nostalgia is sometimes best kept in memory.
I, much like you, went back to play GTA Vice City because of all the "fun times" I had with the game but after playing GTA IV it's nearly impossible to play Vice City again...the car physics are crazy bad and the mechanics are dreadful.
At the time of its release, Vice City was great. But after experiencing Euphoria and more advanced vehicle physics and gunplay it's ...
SNES games were hard too...and so were a lot of N64 and PSX games...the original Siphon Filter almost had me tearing my hair out. To this day I still haven't conquered Mario 64 (though I know a few people who have).
How about Chakan The Forever Man on the Sega Genesis? That was crazy hard...and very, very dark. We just don't get games like that anymore. The closest thing would be The Darkness but it's just so much more goofier than what Chakan was and way easier...
This game is wicked fun. It's like GTA with dumptruck trolls.
Doesn't matter, shared 1GB DDR3 between system and GPU resources is already a bottleneck. That means that games either won't have it where you can import custom tracks, cross-game voice chat or have any other typical background features running (like downloading demos, streaming movies while you play) or the games will be severly limited.
Either way, 1GB of RAM is poor man's stats.
Fail.
My $350 comp and $30 monitor with my $15 Xbox 360 controller and $14 headset say hello.
And my comp absolutely SMASHES anything on PS3 and Xbox 360 right now...Just Cause 2 on max settings with DX11 features on at 50+ FPS also says hello.
EDIT: Console fanboys get me with the $900 crap. They obviously don't keep up with the times and right now PC hardware keeps getting cheaper and cheaper. Next year this time you'll be able to g...
No there is a big difference between core gamers and casual gamers.
Casual gamers have flooded the consoles thanks to CoD and other hand-holding franchises.
Core gamers are ready for next-gen consoles, which is why we now game on PC for a real core-fix.
Casual gamers are ready for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which is why they don't mind paying $60 for skin-jobs and map packs that the core community could have made in six months with mod...
So you been doing thumb-ups and butt-stretches?
I guess I better hit the gaming gym, too...Mountain Dew and Cheetos, here I come. Be ready.
Haven't seen BF3 on PC then?
Okay then...moving on...
LOL
How CAN'T it gimp GTA V? IT WILL BE AN ISSUE.
It was an issue with GTA IV and it was unbelievably obvious. I can only hope and pray that GTA V will be built for the high-end systems and ported back to the PS3/Xbox 360...I don't want no gimped game.
Fail comment.
I die a lot in STALKER...that game is freakin hard even with checkpoints.
I welcome a good challenge that doesn't hold my hand, I am not five years old.
Dude half of those games will either be delayed or won't be playable until several patches later.
Blacklight is F2P and looks kind of generic and PlanetSide 2 and World of Darkness don't have an official release date.
Also if Stalker 2 is supposed to be in 2012 how come they haven't said anything about it? We don't hear nothing about that game.
That's not to mention half the games on that list were also supposed to be r...
lol, apparently you haven't tried to get another code.
Hahaha, you got disagrees by console fanboys.
That's N4G for you.
I have a mid-ranged PC and IT DOES PLAY IT ALL on the high settings. Depends on how you tweak what you got (OC'd Xfire cards).
That fugly looking dude looks like he crawled out of a sewage pipe in Chernobyl and took a shower using craggily-arsed radiation soap while scrubbing down with an butt-ugly stick.
Then again, maybe Zelda likes her men with a bit of prison on their face.
That comment deserves bubbles. So, bubs to you, dude.
There is no bad guy in the history of gaming worse than the lead "good" guy in Saints Row. Your created character is the worse douchebag in the history of all things.
The only thing that douche didn't do was rape a giraffe with a unicorn's horn and then spray the unicorn with sewage.
Who is asking for 3D? I don't think I have ever seen one commenter or one thread from any gamer or site blatantly asking devs to sacrifice time to add in 3D support. LOL
That's industry hogwash and electronic companies pushing for 3D, not gamers.
Nah, price of tech has dropped tremendously.
This gen's consoles came out during a really volatile time in the hardware department which is why they were priced the way they were. CPU wise both 360 and PS3 are still pretty decent.
High-end PCs at present, though, could easily emulate PS3 and 360 games (lots of disagrees from PS3 fanboys, but whatever).
They could release a console next year at the $299 price-point using a mid-ranged Nvid...
I agree with the other posters...the CPU architecture for both Xbox and Xbox 360 were pretty tight. I doubt that would be one of the downfalls of the 720.
RAM and storage space are probably going to be the biggest issue.
Wow, now you're a C&C fanboy that C&C fans should be proud of.
