Believe me, he needs the media attention. Because as soon as it's gone, here come the unmarked vans and men in black to whisk him away to an "undisclosed location".

Arleen Sorkin is perfect and, after years of hearing her Harley, it's hard to imagine anyone else taking over. The same goes for all the original voices from Batman: The Animated Series.

Having said that, I thought (actually still think) that Kevin Conroy is the perfect Batman voice yet Bruce Greenwood does a very good job on Young Justice and in Batman: Under the Red Hood.

I was only familiar with her Batgirl work but I think she'll do fine.

Since there's no industry standard, we have no idea what kind of security any game company has. And if they publicly told us, someone would find a way around it even quicker. We could assume but there's a saying about assumption being the mother of all fuck ups.

The US government let the people who caused a global financial meltdown slide but they are going to crucify Sony?

Oh, please.

Good point but a separate issue. If you already have all of those games, that's a valid complaint. I think Sony should find a way to please those consumers.

I was talking about the people who are complaining about the free games which are being offered when they don't have any of them.

Call of Duty advertising isn't your average video game advertising.

A commercial here or there? No.

It's a black hole that encompasses everything and no one can escape. Black Ops partnered with Jeep, ffs.

And for the love of God, if they link another Eminem song to this franchise...

It's not that they shouldn't advertise but it's the 6 months of advertising, the banners in Times Square, the months of useless gaming articles talking about the tiniest bit of CoD minutiae (ie. "hey, you can customize the shell casings on the guns you use"), and the endless stream of how EPIC the game is going to be when, at this point, I don't care anymore.

Hollywood spends just as much money on a movie as Activision spends on marketing a CoD titl...

So people are actually mad about the selection of FREE stuff they are going to get? Wow.

I want to disagree but I guess I can't when all you did was state facts.

Like you won't have time to preorder in the next 5 months...

Or Gamestop won't be pimping this game every time you walk in the store...

Or Activision won't be running a media blitzkrieg from E3 until the game's release.

Ugh. Same as it ever was...

Already have Wipeout and inFamous, so I guess it's SSHD and Dead Nation for me.

I can't knock it. The price is within my budget :)

1. There's a 5-6 million gap between Sony and Microsoft at this point. If the 360 crowd buys more games then wouldn't there be a software gap in the millions when a game comes out?

2. How does RROD affect the number of PS3s in any way?

3. When I said the 360 is an online shooter console I was referring to the popularity of Xbox Live. Online games in general are the most popular games on 360 and PS3 but Live has created an audience that plays these gam...

It looks like Nintendo is trying to play catch up with Project Cafe. They want to get more of the third party support they pretty much alienated with the Wii. And publishers have said repeatedly that they don't necessarily need a new console gen at this point so whatever Nintendo releases is only so they can get in on the popular games that people want. In a way, this is Nintendo's entry into the current gen

They face an uphill battle though: the audience that bought ...

Microsoft is going to sell more because of the sheer number of 360s in the wild compared to the number of PS3s. But you'll notice that when multiplats are released, the numbers between both systems are usually pretty close, sometimes with the ps3 version selling more.

How do you explain game sales being within a few thousand between two systems when one system has a larger base (about 6 million more). When a developer looks at the numbers, they see that a larger percentag...
