I would say that you completely fail at life if it were not for the fact you have Creed as an avatar pic. Love that guy!
If Geohot was looking for a job, publishing the Root key was a REALLY genius move...
He was only looking for the fame and publicity. I guess cracking the iPhone wasn't enough.
Hulu banned the ps3 browser not Sony.
Here ya go...
I just wish they were more honest. They could've said this: "Xbox is the best place to play CoD...not just because MS paid us to release dlc first for them but because the ps3 and pc version will have less features, worse graphics, and constant connectivity issues." Is that so hard?
There are actual martial artists in the Marvel Universe. Daredevil, Elektra, Iron Fist, Shang Chi...why are none of them in this game?
If leaderboards, ranks, and guns can get hacked, why bother playing? I hate buying a game and having to worry about jackasses ruining the online.
I wonder if this is what is going to kill the FPS genre. Imagine if developers decide online is not worth the server upkeep and having to patch glitches and hacks indefinitely? We could see a rising trend in games actually having to have a full fledged SP campaign and not coast on MP, whether it's good or bad.
...
Don't forget SOCOM. :)
I don’t think Consumer Rights cover opening the door to piracy. Hotz knew exactly what he was doing when he posted the root key. I hope that will be his undoing.
That sets a dangerous precedent. So all I have to do is damage a company enough and I can expect a job offer?
Same here. Only game this year I traded in. Bought it on a friday night, beat the campaign in 2 sittings on the 2nd highest difficulty and it felt like work. Medal of Honor was more fun.
It's more like they already have your money, so why fix anything? People are guaranteed to buy the game because it has Call of Duty in the title. And buy the new maps. It's sad.
What I mean is they are within their rights to do so. It would be a PR nightmare and there would be no upside for Activision. They aren't that dumb.
They can...but would they?
Probably not.
They might as well do it at this point. MS needs the exclusives and I could care less. Black Ops was the final nail in the coffin for me. I'm done.
The CoD brand is very strong but the quality of the games have been slipping since MW1. Yearly releases aren't helping either and Activision is going to ride the series into the ground like they did to Guitar Hero.
It's only going to take one mediocre title to send CoD into freefall.
YEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!
If it's as good as Everthing or Nothing was, I'm in...
TBH it's the only Bond we'll be getting for at least 2 years. I'm already sold.
"What? Your paying them money, for free online? So your basically giving them your money for nothing?"
You just summed up my opinion of Xbox Live.
With Xbox, you absolutely HAVE to pay for Live to get online. The free stuff Live gives you is to justify paying for Gold membership. PS+ is optional. For the moment, not having PS+ won't lock you out of any PSN service.
People are trying to rationalize PS+ by comparing it to Gold but...
This guy is an idiot. He says he can't wait to hack the Experia Play?! I'll bet Sony's lawyers can't wait to use his own post against him.
