I think he's so wrong saying the big story-driven games don't have the impact they used to. I think it's the opposite. I think they're the only games we remember now because we can actually play them 15 years from now. Whereas all these service based games are in-the-moment thrills. Depending on servers and active users.
lol, exactly what I thought.
Portability is a gimmick? Someone tell Nintendo all their 'gimmick' handhelds like gameboy, DS & 3DS are failures despite being among the most successful gaming platforms in history.
Wait...
"According to Capcom, they felt like their work on the DLC is not enough after the amazing reception of Resident Evil 7, and that is why they want to work on it more."
So... they were just going to say "Eh, good enough" until they were like "Oh, shit, wait... People like RE7. I guess we should actually put more thought into this DLC."
It's difficult going from Botw to Horizon and vice versa. I made the mistake of trying to play both too close to each other.
There's like 5 to 10 of them out of 120 though.
I'm over 130 and still have many more shrines to go. I will say I've not been the most productive player ever, I'm not reading strategies and googling locations of things. Playing it as if the internet didn't exist.
Ah good ole N4G, always gotta be about that PS!
Shh, don't ruin this. They love to think everything is doomed except for PS.
flighty fanbase? Lemme stop ya right there.
can we stop acting like just because destiny isn't on ps3/360 that it somehow means D2 is going to be this insane modern marvel of a game? The reason it's not coming to ps3/360 is because that user base is all but gone. If there's a platform and demand, it'll be on it. Not saying there will be for Switch, but stop acting like you KNOW D2 is couldn't run on Switch. Engines scale.
In general? No... a huge % of steam users aren't on PCs even close to a PS4 or PS4 Pro. Just because a niche group makes completely overpowered rigs doesn't mean the platform as a whole is ahead.
People forget about "Indiestation 4" for the first few months of PS4. People have no patience and ALWAYS use it to bash a system for its initial lack of games.
Personally I don't see the value in this. Anything that's worth playing I either already have or can get insanely cheap already. Why not own them, at least? Or red box them and be done. This just seems like another attempt to distract people that there are no exclusives for XBO.
You're saying this on a site that's very superficial. They judge books by covers and write their own books about those books they judged without reading.
Don't feel sorry for us, bud. We've got Nintendo exclusives and PS4 exclusives to keep us happy. Cause, incase you didn't know, it's not all us vs. them. A lot of us appreciate multiple companies/systems.
So you think they'll use it for a vast open world but a couple houses on some swamp property is just... out of the question? If anything RE7 would be the perfect RE engine game to showcase on Switch due to the tighter corridors.
Well modern engines are quite scalable. Will it have the graphic fidelity of PS4? No. But by all means, the game isn't anything crazy gameplay wise. But in all seriousness, do people on this site do any research into anything before posting or is it all ran off of blind skepticism? I swear people seem to be under the impression the Switch is running on 3DS hardware.
"Can the whole game fit into a cartridge i wonder.."
You're joking, right?
Dreamcast was plugging along in 2001.
