Well it's out for 2 systems, one of them selling like crazy, the other is not. Seems like people have in some way at least chosen the system they're getting it on...
It's only as big of a deal as fanboys outside of Nintendo are making it. So, absolutely earth-shatteringly massive by their standards. Vast majority of people with Switches seem to be too busy getting lost in Hyrule. While everyone else goes seeking out articles about launch issues and uses them to create a narrative that everything is failing. Typical launch procedures for salty fanboys as usual.
A good 128gb micro sd card is $39 on Amazon. it's not like people going digital (like me) are somehow screwed.
Powerful handheld.
@MeteorPanda maybe. A port. A year or two later? Still WAY too early to invest in a new IP for an unproven system.
Yeah bring on the 1,2 Switch clones, Ubisoft.
So why did you even get an XBO? Should've kept your 360.
I'll wait for Fallout: Shelter on Scorpio.
Jumping on new gimmicks isn't advancing shit. It's a distraction. And serves to set gaming back several steps. See: Wii.
You know... you CAN get good at these games. But you have to play them to do that.
Forza isn't sim. Also consider for a second how it's possible forza has so many cars. Lots of corners cut.
It's still being tested and they likely don't want to advertise it if there ends up being a lot of issues and they end up pulling it. However, tests are showing nothing but positives from it.
I have a Switch pre-ordered but I cannot stand the vast majority of the Nintendo hardcore fanbase. They're some of the most delusional people I've ever seen. I swear to God they act more like investors of Nintendo rather than gamers. They go on and on and on about quality vs. quantity (a stale excuse to justify only having a few games to play) and yet can't acknowledge that there's already a system on the market that's delivering quality AND quantity. They're too focu...
Something tells me this guy went in with the mindset he wasn't going to like it.
I'm on playthrough #3 right now. Easily in my top 5 games of all time. It's the most engaged in a game I've been in a decade, easily.
All I know is RE7 is amazing and I can't wait for Switch.
Once you realize the Switch is actually the successor to the 3DS and will benefit from the support the 3DS gets from both N and 3rd party, it's easy to see how it'll be successful. No, we won't get RDR2 on it and that's okay. What we will get are fantastic JRPGs that are console-level quality on a handheld, along with full Nintendo support for all of their 1st party entries. This thing will be well worth owning along side PS4/XBO/PC.
This gen isn't boring. Gamers are just more entitled than ever and harder to please.
In SO many ways MD was NOT excellent, though. It was 1/3 of a game and what was there wasn't thought-out much at all. Abilites were way too OP and most of the challenge was completely taken away with the use of the very things the game is about. The only fun I had was when I imposed my own limitations (since the game rarely does) and through that there were some nice challenges that took actual thinking. Nobody asked for more Jensen. There's such a large universe to explore with so mu...
@bluefox755 - his statement is in regards to the fact that Switch has half the ram ps4 does, yet from a development perspective, it's only short 2gb of ram. Not saying that it's the same, just that it's not 50% less ram when it comes to what developers have access to. Now SPEED of the ram...that's a different story.
