The PS3 will never get the good reviews. As I have said before as a PS3 owner I am happy, but I also know the media will never except the PS3. Even if it outsold the Wii for the next 4 years. If every game was sandbox with over 200 hours gameplay with photo realistic graphics. They would still find something or another wrong with what has been achieved by the PS3.

Anyone doubting the need for blu-ray or the power of the PS3 should take a long hard look at this game. This shows what the PS3 can do and the console would have been out a year. The prospect of what year 7 will be like?

The Japanese market is so very different to anywhere else in the world. The games are so very different, so far alot of the games that cater to their tastes has been out on the Wii.
One of the big sellers of the summer was a Virtual Summer Holiday, there is not alot out on the PS3 at the moment that appeal greatly to the mass market in Japan.

Been playing it all day, it is more than the original 2 games and fun to play. The controls have been tweeked and the graphics have been improved. IMO it is a good play and with the added online co-op mode is worth the money.
They only need to show this game and people will want it. In a year dominated by FPS this is the breath of fresh air that gamers have been screaming for.

This game is worth a little more than this. I have been playing it from release and whilst it is not the most original game is more than competent enough in the graphical and gameplay department. The story whilst not the most original keeps your interest throughout. As well there seems to be d/l content coming out very fast and whilst you may feel that maybe it should have been part of the game, but they seem to add something to the game beyond a novelty.

IMO it does not matter what game is out for the 360 or Nintendo nor for that matter if it beats either console graphically. All that matters is gameplay and if it can shift consoles.
IMO yes it will shift consoles and the gameplay looks solid. The demo's have been jaw dropping eye candy, it will turn quite a few heads when people see it.
I just hope that the recent bad reviews just stop, in this games case I do not think they have anything to worry about.
I am so looking forward to this game. I cannot help but feel that some reviews have been harsh on certain PS3 titles. Whilst I admit there are problems with Heavenly Sword and Folklore, they are both solid enjoyable plays. I just hope that they don't bash this game for not having multi-player or something dumb like its not a FPS.
IMO this is due to lack of knowledge about the hardware. Yes it is harder to program for right now compared to 360 and the Wii. The 360 has had a year head start, so yes companies would be able to program it easier. The Wii on the other hand is easy to develope for.
If you look at all Playstation hardware from the first to the third they have always been difficult to develope for, but once everyone got used to programming for it, the software came out in droves.

I have pre-ordered this game. IMO it looks like the next-gen Tomb Raider and impresses on all fronts: graphics and gameplay look amazing, but its the small touches like the trees falling as the cars go over them that set this game apart. If companies can program games to this calibur the PS3 has a bright future.

IMO it will boost sales, only 2 reasons are normally given as to why someone does not own a PS3. Games and price, there are some pretty good games already out and a lot more between now and Christmas. That just leaves price and that has finally been addressed. Yes b/c is gone at the cheaper price, but with there being another model on sale with it people have a choice.

I do not realistically see there being a console war. I think all 3 consoles are going to have enough install base that by next Christmas a developer will pick and choose which platform(s) to release software on.
