My 5 Predictions:
1) Square/Enix confirm a Final Fantasy VII remake / follow on.
2) Killzone 2 is amazing, but Resistance 2 blows it out of the water.
3) MGS4, Final Fantasy XIII and Gran Turismo 5 bring the PS3 close to / if not exceding the 360.
4) First screen shot of Drake's Fortune 2 is shown, blowing Crysis away.
5) Team Ico's first PS3 outing and God Of War III will be demo'd at a show and set a new standard in both graohics and gameplay.
So Nintendo won, Microsoft 2nd and Sony 3rd. Thats the way the figures looks, but considering analysts was claiming that the 360 would outsell the PS3 3to1 and Wii 6to1, the PS3 did respectable.
I own a PS3 and have played Halo 3, Crysis and Bioshock. And whilst I admit that if you have a good enough rig the PC beats Uncharted hands down, can people now shut up moaning about the price of the PS3? Because to run the games on a PC that excedes Uncharted's effects, costs way more than a PS3 and 360 added together.
Whilst I only own a PS3 (the Wii does not appeal and I will never forgive Bill Gates for what is known as Windows, so I will not line his pockets with more of my money), I have to say that all 3 consoles have a strong line-up for the foreseeable future.
However, just as only a fool would bet against strong sales of Halo 3 or GTA 4, how can anyone bet against the PS3 line-up? Yes it is not a forgone conclusion. However, both Final Fantasy XIII and MGS4 appear to be mind blowing ...
.... It makes me wonder how far Sony will be behind by this time next year. With the announcement that MGS4 will come with MGS online, GT5 looking amazing, Killzone 2 looks impressive and now with the 2 Final Fantasy XIII games. Add to that the games are exclusive? Next year could leave things looking very different for Sony.
IMO the videos look awesome and will have to get them both day 1.

GTA: SA in the end was getting a little boring. Unless there is drastic change to GTA IV, I think the game will be long enough as it is. That is not to say the episodic content will not be good. Just that the game will be long enough in its own right IMO.
I only own a PS3.... But IMO if you want more child to teen orientated games then the Wii is for you. If you like action and driving games then the 360 is for you. If you like many different game types then the PS3 is for you.
That is not to say there is not a variety of games for all the consoles, just that the PS3 seems to cater to many different tastes.

Been playing this game for hours and not froze once.
I would not mind if there had been many games of this kind on the shelf this year, but there is not. There had been too many FPS this year by far, this was and is a breath of fresh air to this years line up of games.
This guy obviously either has a short attention span (so he played the game for 5 minutes and decided he did not like it) or he was looking for reasons to dislike this game.

It really does make me wonder about gamers. The first computer I owned was an Amstrad CPC464, I got it on the first day it came out. And whilst there was shooters out, my favourite games were Manic Minor, Jet Set Willy, Chuckie Egg 1&2 and the Dizzy games. All of which you do not kill a thing, things may chase you and kill you, but you cannot fight back.
I know some games require a body count (Warhawk still is one of my favourite games), but to discount a game just because...
Been playing games fine since the 2.01 update. Tried Assassins Creed (even though I had no problem before) still worked fine.

There are many games on the 360 I would like to see a decent port of on the PS3.
It just shows companies have faith in the PS3, even if the media does not.

It does not need to, it took Sony 7 years to sell the PS2 to the numbers it did. The PS3 is just a year old, not even that in PAL territories.
The PS3 has done well considering the delays, price and lack of games for half the year and too many the second half.
The PS3 needs to sell consoles, not be number 1. The Sony big guns are out next year and I do think then the lay of the land will be different. I don't think it will be number 1, but definitely not as far b...
To put it simply.... because Square know how to utilize any console they program for. I do not deny you have to enjoy the sort of games they program, but they seem to push the bar higher with each game released.
I can only tell you that my cousin had the same problem, he got his friend round with his laptop in the end to set it up.
If you look online I am sure you will find help from one source or another. Just put in the modem make and model and you should find something.
This game rocks. Spent the last couple of days on this. This game plays well and is simple to play, but to perfect every level takes some skill.
Yet another must have game on the PSN.
