I agree there is games coming out, but just like the PS3, in the present there are just isn't that many.

If EA was continuously releasing good titles, originality was their middle name and my game library consisted of mostly EA titles. Then maybe I care more. I will start off by saying I own a PS3. But I do think the XBox 360 wins as it stands right now. It has a larger quantity and larger variety of games than the other 2 consoles, that is because of the head start, but it deserves first place.

If you look at most games for what they really are, you are doing the same thing over and over again. FPS, driving, RPG, beat 'em ups, shoot 'em ups etc are all the same movements / button presses. The only difference is in the animation and graphics. I know people are going to disagree with me, but just think about it.
IMO that might be the reason Sony plowed $40million into GG, maybe they want an alternate game engine. Killzone looks nice so it would make sense to use the game engine elsewhere.
After watching what has happened before with Sega and Nintendo, nothing is for certain. But in Sony's defence they have been at the top for the longest time.
Some people are never going to praise the PS3. It could be $200, come with 5 Blu-Ray films and 5 games of your choice.... But it still would not be enough. Some people cannot accept that all companies make mistakes and quotes are blown out of all proportion. Even worse they cannot accept when something good is released on another console.

This game plays so well, the controls are easy enough to pick up, but hard to master. The animation and graphics are both damn fine. The game is just good period.
The only thing I do feel bad about is the fact that the game will be overshadowed by Halo3 and whilst Halo will sell by the bucketload, Heavenly Sword maybe ignored.
I will own this game day 1. It is a fast paced multiplayer frag fest. Dare I even say it, maybe online multi player of the year?
IMO Sony may opt to do 2 things:
1) Drop the price when stocks run out to $499 keeping it at the lower price if sales continue on strong.
2) Make a cheap SKU. Drop some of the ports, size of hard drive to 40gig, remove backwards compatability and price it at $399. This would make it a much more afordable option especially from the Blu-Ray point of view.

IMO the Wii is suffering only one thing, lack of games from 3rd parties. The multi formats usually miss out the Wii and unless the tide turns it will be the N64 all over again. It would also be intresting to see how many Wii owners own or plan to own a 2nd console.

IMO it's still anyones game. Whilst the Wii is selling well its games are kinda limited. Most multi platform games ignore the Wii, due to graphical and storage constraints.
Many people argue that whilst the 360 was out a whole year before the PS3 that Microsoft couldn't keep up with customer demand, many can argue that Sony didn't have a world wide release some waited nearlly 6 months later in fact.

IMO All Sony has to do is announce a perminient price drop and / or a cheaper SKU. I know Halo 3 is going to sell by the bucket load and Microsoft do have a strong line up in the run up to Christmas, but Sony also have a strong line-up and IMO a more varied line-up.
Apart from Tiger Woods, Fight Night and Formula 1 they can make the rest 360 exclusive for all I care.
I guess every company has to have a leading system and EA have chosen theirs. It is good news for Microsoft in that EA have picked so early on,
I just hope that they take the time to at least make the PS3 versions up to some sort of standard. Seeing the efforts recently with framerates from EA I don't held out much hope.

This is a game you will still play this time next year. This game deserves every high rating it gets.
The only people who don't like this game are people who can't play it. I think I read 1 person who played it and thought it sucked.
