Didn't EGM once give Final Fantasy VII overall 4/10 in their first Jap release review?
I make my own opinions on games, most magazines hate the Dynasty Warriors games, I have always liked them and find them entertaining from beginning to end.
I find some magazines also will give the game to the wrong person to review. By that I mean, if a person likes Sports / Action games then don't give them a RTS or RPG to review.
IMO I prefer PSN to Live. The updates come fast and often, the games cater for both single and multi player experiance. Free demo's of the games you want to play (Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, etc).
Being able to surf the web using your PS3 is a big bonus, plugging in a standard USB keyboard and mouse and it is just as quick as a PC.

Some of the animation on the moves is awesome, as is the speed at which the game runs. It is fluent and clear even when the action heats up.
With around 8 enemies on screen, thinking time is short, but it just makes you want to play the game more.
Many may argue that this is a button masher, but I suggest you look at the move list and realize that that is just the demo, the final game will have more.
I know this game will not be everyone cup of tea...
I think you will stay on the dragon, but with more moves and better ariel to ariel combat.
I liked both series, but Vigilante 8 was a better play. Never really played it multi player though.
Can we please have a few more moves / modes added?
I want to see: a toe bang to the nads as a move, the ability to shove / spit / punch the other player as he is sent off and pitch invaisions if you play poorly.
New modes: Pub league, with shots from 6 feet outside the box and pitch fights. Cuppies: 20+ kids and 1 goal, running round the field trying to score, one person goes out each round till there is a winner.

When I see lazy assed conversions and rehashes every year, it makes me wonder what happened to the EA that made the Mega Drive / Super Nintendo classics? Desert Strike, Shadow Of The Beast, Populous etc.
At one time they pushed the boundaries and it is becoming more sad year by year.

I am not bothered if a game is repetitive as long as it plays well.
Sometimes I am in the mood for thinking (Final Fantasy / Tomb Raider) and sometimes I just want to kill things (Dynasty Warriors / Manhunt). I think this will fall into the later category quite well.

Back to Stardust HD.
For people viewing this generation as a forgone conclusion, that is dumb. No console has won outright in 1-2 years. The real test is in 2 years time, then we will know who has won.
Judging by sales alone in the same amount of time (from console release), the Wii has done phenomenal, whilst the PS3 and 360 are about the same. Some figures I would like to know is how many Wii owners own another console?

This game is looking so good. The others were pretty cool (I hope that they put in a crazy golf course again).
I don't mind Tiger Woods, but with the taunts when you play multi player, this is real entertainment.
I have always enjoyed these games right from the PS1 days. The control system has grown a little old, but the game is still fun.
I am a Sony fanboy, but the flaming comes from both sides, to call one side is kinda fanboyish in itself.
Myself I am not bothered if a game goes multiplatform, AS LONG AS IT IS STILL RELEASED FOR THE PS3.
Some games I have had little or no care for when they have dropped off Sony's release list, but I will still but DMC4.

I am so glad this game delivered. I liked the dragon sections in Drakengard and have been looking forward to this game from the get go.
It was also good to see the problems being sorted out by the release.
I will own this game as soon as it is released in the UK and look forward to further Factor 5 releases.
I think the article is kinda dumb considering most of the PS2 sales did not happen until the 3rd year for the system.

I would say this is good for Sony, I mean they sold out in many outlets so the figure could have been higher.
And for all those going on about 5000 difference, since when had the PS3 been on sales par in North America with the 360? As I remember rightly it was around 3-1 the previous week. So from around 14,000 sales up to 40,000 sales is a bit more than a 5,000 increase.
It is games like this that will shift consoles. I know it borrows heavy from other games / films, but it turns heads and looks like nothing else coming out on the market for the foreseeable future.
You should try RFOM, played it after the update, around 10 people playing the game talking through the headsets about DIY and the joys of fishing turned the sound off in the end.
As soon as Warhawk and Socom are released most people will have a headset.
