Sony own around 37% of Square Enix, but still allow games to go else where. Whilst I think Microsoft will get the new MMORPG being designed by Square, I don't think the others will make it to 360. I think it will be down to storage capacity rather than the console itself.
Blu-Ray gives the programmers the opportunity to make unrepetative backgrounds, more speech and a more detailed world. Square have always pushed the boundaries will what they do and would not pass up the chanc...
Looking at both games they are indeed impressive and yes right now I do give the graphical edge to Gears, but for amount of on screen action Killzone 2 has its pants down.
Should be interesting to see the final product, think graphically it should excede Gears by then.
As much as I look forward to COD 4 and Killzone 2, I do look forward more to any news on Resistance 2.
Plays well single player, up to 40 players online and even a few querky weapons.

One fact that people should take into consideration when talking consoles vs PC is the price of a PC to get games looking that crisp. Considering that some graphics cards in the UK are around £100 more expensive than the PS3 I think it is kinda stupid comparing them.
Take a PC of the same value as a PS3 then we might see a real differance in Sony and Microsofts favour.

Graphics are important now, I know they aren't everything, but we would only ever need 1 console in out lifetime if graphics didn't matter. They are mattering more with draw distances and detail never seen before.

So in your opinion why is some software running comfortably at 60fps? I personally think they are just not taking the time to push the system, because all of the in house stuff runs at 60fps.
I think it is kinda sad that almost every 360 owner who manages to drag themselves away from such a vast collection of games has to putdown the PS3.
I would love to see this game see the light of day, but unless they make it cartoon graphics I don't see it happening. There are too many people who seem to know what is good and right for everyone. There only excuse being that if it saves one life then it is worth banning the game.

I would say respect off of some 360 owners who said Killzone 2 couldn't look as good as the 05 demo.
Some developers are starting to announce new games for the PS3, some timed exclusives and some multi-platform sequals.
I would say it was a success, many of the games shown were being played and not just some rolling demos.
Sorry but what did Halo exactly bring to the table that was new? Other than graphics it had all been done before albeit on a PC.
I can see that Halo 3 is gonna be a good game and yet you have to slate Killzone 2? Most FPS are generic and to think otherwise is just more denile.

I would like to point out that there has been some 360 owners who have said the game looks good, this proves some people can rise above the playground.
There was stuff at the E3 on the 360 that looked good, but no-one expected Killzone to be this good.
This is why Sony will start to come back, the quality of the games on show and software houses giving Sony timed exclusives is growing. Every game that is exclusive to the PS3 has looked better than ever.
With the amount of enemies on screen aswell as friendly fire? The sheer amount of debris flying everywhere. Look at the draw distance and then think the game is 6 months from release.

360 owners can hate all they want, the PS3 has proved what it can do. They seem kinda bitter, is it that Killzone looks the part? Or is it MGS4 is still exclusive?

I was impressed by how much was on screen at one time, if they can get that much on screen it should be a blast.

Whilst the charactors may look clearer on Gears, the background looks a little dodgy in places.
Aswell not so many charactors on screen. That is not to take anything away from Gears, but it is an explanation to why most people view Killzone as better, as sometimes you have as many people on your team in Killzone as there is on screen in Gears.
