Oh, this thread again?
Hey... Three months ago called...
What, Kinect is a gimmick, but VR isn't?
@cfir
"So they're not allowed to talk about it, or use it either ?"
If this whole thing is true (and that is a big IF), then developers probably don't even know about it yet. They've only been able to use Xbox One dev kits, which wouldn't feature the enhanced tech because it doesn't "exist" yet.
If developers don't know about the tech, they can't really use it because they have no way of address...
@Gamer1982
"MS have released all the specs on the console and they went into depth aswell can we drop the rumours now? We know what it can do and thats that."
Not true. They've only released GPU and APU specs - they haven't detailed the CPU (which is custom) and other aspects of their SOC (which are also custom). We won't have a full understanding until they disclose everything or release date arrives.
Both Blacklist and The Last of Us were my favorite MP games this year because they were so different from everything else out there. It's nice to get away from the typical FPS for a good experience online.

An elegant and/or graceful troll is still a troll.
@Red_Devilz
The picture in your link was confirmed by Respawn to be a PS3 because they like to play games on all consoles during their break time.
Maria plays Specs and Stats the same way Sony fans accused Xbox fans of playing Sales this generation.
I play video games.
I won't buy both on Day One because I want to enjoy each on their own merits. It's like you have to marry one woman, but you get your mistress later after the sex isn't as exciting anymore.
I agree except I'm getting mine when inFamous: SS drops. Love the series.
Looking good! Still on the fence though.
@The realness
"lets be honest...do YOU even know what that means? can YOU explain the benefits and weakness of each console without parroting numbers you have seen thrown around on the internet. "
This times a million.
Seriously, the sheer number of software and hardware engineers on this site is baffling (around 96% at last count). I don't know why Microsoft and Sony didn't just hire the members of N4G to create their new c...
@The realness
The problem is that on N4G, nobody wants to know and talk about the One's specs unless:
1. They're seemingly less impressive than the PS4's
2. They have some special technology or advancement that can be called a gimmick or "PR jargon".
Also, I don't think that Shaniele from Amazon can be considered a legitimate source lol
Example...
Dudebro 1: "Hey man! New Xbox on Black Friday!"
Dudebro 2: "Sweet! Where did you hear that? Kotaku? N4G? GAF?"
Dudebro 1: " Naw man, my girl Shaniele in customer service."
Dudebro 2: (facepalm)
@ProA007
"We are literally, STILL talking about stuff from TWO MONTHS ago...that have been FIXED. Why?"
Because nobody knows how to beat a dead horse quite like sensationalist gaming media and Sony fanboys.
I cannot even fathom the lag that 256 player p2p would entail
However, maybe a patch where people could cost their own dedicated servers, either on a PC or PS3?
Double Helix is not an indie by any stretch of the imagination - they're third party.
@black0o
I agree, it's a ludicrous idea, but business sometimes makes no sense at all. The DRM thing may have been planned and backed off of as a consequence of a larger plan - I don't know.
The 40% figure doesn't tell the whole story though. It doesn't take into account custom chips and architecture. I would also argue that that value is merely a number based off of what is currently known. Unfortunately, there is plenty we don't know and...
Uncharted could use a slight break for ND to spread their wings and make another masterpiece.
But not too long of a break.
