The excuses and the naysaying is already piling up. I only wonder if everyone who said that they wouldn't buy an Xbox One because they were "afraid" of monitoring or had some principle against it will now cancel their PS4 preorders.
I'm pretty sure they won't.
I'm on my second Windows Phone and I love the OS. Still, it's not for everyone, but it is a refreshing change from iOS and Android, which are basically twins who deny that fact.
That would be an alternate universe where the same fanboys would find different excuses for supporting their console and denouncing their rivals.

I spent $4,000 of my own money for a 62 inch 1080i/720p TV 8 years ago. It works well and I have no intention of buying a new TV until it dies or 4K becomes reasonably priced.

There's a rule to investigation - "consider the source". While I agree that resolution disparity is certainly a topic to discuss, you find WAY more Sony fanboys using it as a weapon in their attacks against Microsoft and its fans than you see future Xbox One owners complaining about 720p being inadequate.

Well, therein lies the question. N4G's second biggest pastime after bashing Microsoft consoles is bashing Call of Duty. I have a sneaking suspicion that all of a sudden, the "definitive version" of Ghosts is going to be "important" now that there is disparity between X1 and PS4.
This is a well-written, unbiased article that actually explains a lot of things instead of simply saying A is better than B. Even though X1 will have developers working harder, I'm sure that they will be able to get a lot out of the console once they've learned the tricks of it.
Gears hasn't run its course, but it does need a little break. I hope that they wait long enough to figure out the X1 hardware so that no compromises or excuses can be made.

Graphics ARE important, but a crappy game with amazing graphics is still a crappy game, while an amazing game with crappy graphics is still an amazing game. You can have both, but the game is more important than how it looks.

The majority of Xbox fans never said that exclusives don't matter because, well, that's stupid. What they said, in response to Sony fans teasing them for having few high profile exclusives recently, was that there were still plenty of multiplatform games to play on their console of choice.
Nobody EVER said exclusives don't matter - they simply said that they're not the only games that matter.
I can't tell if you are trolling, who you might be trolling, and what the agrees and disagrees mean, but... there are no gameplay trailers of The Order at this time.
