after MS's exclusivity contract expires. Question is whether anyone will still care by then or even cares now. There is good news here for PS3 owners though. The PS3 user base has grown big enough where the price for MS to buy timed exclusivity on whole games is becoming cost prohibitive. I believe if Fallout 3 came out in 2k7 MS could have bought a timed exclusive on the whole game.
If MS greases their palm ME 2 will likely be a timed exclusive. If MS doesn't want to pay (and I think the asking price will be high) then it will go multiplat day one. Then MS will probably cut a smaller check for some exclusive DLC just like GTA 4, Tomb Raider and Fallout 3.
I finished it at 35 hrs. Sure I could have maybe spend 65 more hours looking for pigeons but I consider that more like torture not gameplay. If they are advertising 12-20 its probably more like 6-8 hours.
I can afford Gold easy but I think its wrong for MS to charge for the "privilege" to play the games I've already purchased. Not to mention making Silver members wait an extra week for demos now. Stripping things away from Silver members has pushed me further away from Gold if anything.
I bought a used Wii for cheap before the weekend and I was playing Mario Kart on my 46" Sharp yesterday. My roommate walks into my room and says "damn why is Yoshi so blurry?" I said "because its a Wii. This is the awesome system that everyone is going crazy over." He replied with "this is a new game?! Nintendo must be making a lot of money." True story...
Not digging the new interface. Too much junk to wad through.
As far as I can tell it's a amateur site that pays "writers" for the hits their articles generate. It's somewhat insulting to call them journalists. So yeah, I suggest you guys don't click on the link. Unless you want to reward the guy for being a prick.
The manual and case is new too.
MS did what a good business is suppose to do. They threw cash at what they wanted. Square did what they were suppose to do. Take the cash thrown at them. Sony on the other hand just stood there and let their biggest 3rd party exclusive walk out the door. Sony should of locked up exclusivity before the PS3 was even launched. But now western PS3 owners are the ones that get screwed by the delay.
In their fiscal report. Anyone know why the discrepancy?
They don't require you to keep a receipt like Sony does. However Sony foots the bill for faster shipping.
If this is true Nintendo is marking up the DSI almost 50%. That's the difference.

Sony USA should just remove Uncharted from the $500 bundle and replace it with Killzone 2. Move Uncharted to the Greatest Hits line to drum up excitement for Uncharted 2. Win, win, simple as that. Now where's my 6 figure salary Sony?
I believe its set for Spring 09.
I'm not apologizing for MS. I've been very critic of them. I've been the victim of 2 RRODs and I think charging for Live is a joke. I also think designing a console that scratches discs when you move it is pathetic. BUT not one of the three 360s I've had scratches discs when you DON'T move it.
That's why they put that warning sticker on the dvd tray of every unit they shipped out. I wish someone would pay me money to figure out the obvious.
You guys obviously don't realize how big Disney is. They only stamp their own name on kiddy stuff. But they also own ESPN, ABC and Miramax.
About 5.7 Billion as of yesterday. Its down some more today.
They deserve to have some fun too. So let it be. There are plenty of games for casual and hardcore gamers on the other two platforms.
