@7. People buy their game system, pay for their ISP and their game. It is like buying a car (game system), paying for insurance (ISP), buying gas (the game) and being charged extra to drive on the freeway (Xbox live gold). Its jacked up and anti-consumer but I guess their are always fools around willing to bend over for their favorite company.

If your playing campaign then you just about finished it. I finished it on normal in about 7.5 hours. Its shorter then many shooters... The game is fun but no way would I give it a 9.
Funny how you make fun of their spelling and terminology but you use electronic engineer instead of electrical and there is no such word as spelt. What is that a fish?
I knew the score before I even clicked. They can't score it too low or everyone will yell bias. They can't score it too high or MS won't be happy. So they are pretty much locked at 4/5 or 8/10 so that neither side can really ride their ass.
If I believed everything I read on the internet the PS3 and PC gaming have died more times then Kenny on South Park. The Wii is the greatest electronic device in history and the 360 is god's gift to gaming.
Yeah that cracked me up when the dude had to hunt down a zombie to run over with the lawnmower in the Wii version.
Those little details like 4x as many zombies? Let's not forget the original Dead Rising is 2 and a half years old now. But I can definitely see the difference between HD and SD even on a 4 inch screen. For all those people claiming they can't tell the difference on a flat screen I call bull.
I'm pretty sure the numbers are underwhelming which is why they left them out. At $20 a pop, most other dlc would have to sell 2x to 4x as much to match one sale of Lost and the Damned. And remember they don't mention downloadable games in the statement. Only downloadable content, so its going up against stuff like horse armor or the dlc from Fable or Fallout 3.
After watching Halo War ad after Halo War ad during the TNT basketball games I'm inclined to agree. Those ads of only the cgi cutscenes make it look like it would be a shooter.
What makes you think games start at 10 and they make deductions from there? BTW CBS owns Cnet. Do a search. I wish you people would get that through your frickin' thick ass head.
Actually the article implies that they take a snapshot of paid users every month or so and track it through the years that way. So I think the month that you paid you would be included and the month that you didn't wouldn't. It's % of paying members not just yearly memberships.
Why should consumers have to do math if they want to buy something? Simple or not its anti-consumer. BTW having a 80 to 1 conversion rate is not simple. Simple would be 100 to 1 or 1 to 1. If you can think of a logical reason not to use either of those instead please let me know.
You guys are both right. 400 ms points equals $5US in hopes of trying to confusing people and making them think its $4 instead of $5. Anyone that has seen a podcast has seen the point system confuse people talking about game prices on xbla. They also have preset funky amounts so people always have something left over and have to buy more then they need. Which will likely make them buy something in the future since they already have some points in their account. Its evil but that's MS for...
Well there is no real game journalism. But I'd have to agree that hiphopgamer stuff is trash. Its sad the way he tries to promote himself with all those homosexual pictures of himself flexing. hahah
The PS3 was outselling the 360 when it was $50 more then the Pro system. Why drop it $100? That would make it the same price as the Pro. When the PS3 obviously offers more in terms of features. It would also put them deep into the red again for each system sold.
$50 cut with a bundled game and maybe a bigger hard drive. Announced at E3 in July. That's my guess.
I said it months ago and I'll say it again. I'm sure EA has their hand out to MS asking for a check. If the check is big enough (and it will have to be big), ME2 will be a timed exclusive for the 360. If not then I would expect it to come out on PS3 at or around the same time. And MS will just write a much smaller check for some exclusive dlc like all the other recent games. That's why EA won't confirm or deny. They are probably still in talks with MS.
Its sad but even with those numbers the Wii is still outselling the PS3 by 50% per week.
de blob is also on PC so maybe it didnt' qualify.
