I would buy 3 extra dual shocks just for this game. There are no real good single screen multiplayer games that take advantage of the 7 controller slots possible except for sports games.
Giving out review scores on preview builds is an irresponsible stunt. That brings into question gamesradar's already questionable reputation.
They only wrote the check for Europe and the US.
Going Commando, Size Matters, Up Your Arsenal, Tools of Destruction (is it referring to R & C as tools or the actual weapons they use). The same goes for Quest for Booty. Booty can also mean spoils of victory or a prize or gain.
But the installs better not be mandatory. Not at the prices MS charges for hard drive upgrades. I never plan to upgrade my 360 hard drive. Just delete demos after I try them and space for game saves, nothing more.
Up Your Arsenal?
Dodgeball on the NES had more depth.
When people say "its only $4 a month" blah blah blah. Hey its only $1.50 to use your atm card at another bank's atm machine. But guess what? People hate being charged for that as well and a vast majority of people go to their own bank's atm to save that charge. Its the same thing. For me its principle more then any thing else. We already get nickel'd and dime'd to death in everyday life and I have to draw the line somewhere.
and is it any good?
Its very important to me and sometimes a deciding feature as to whether I purchase a game or not. But if Killzone 2 provides a long compelling single player I may just get it anyway.
That is impressive.
with the Cell processor. I think they should of just went with a more conventional tri-core or quad-core design and used the savings to bump the ram to 1 gig. As is smaller 3rd party devs don't know how or can't afford to develop on it. While the bigger 3rd parties just do multiplat that doesn't push the Cell anyway. But it isn't a Dreamcast in terms of support by any stretch of the imagination.
Probably 60%-80% of the people paying for Live Gold only do so to unlock the online play devs already put into the game. MS knows this which is why they force this Gold crap on you to get it. Nothing revealed on Monday justifies MS charging people a fee who already paid for the game and want to play their game online using their ISP. If they want to charge for that other stuff fine but online play should be free.
It was cool when I was in high school. Then the first game for the N64 was great too because it was a move to 3D. But after that it just felt like the same crap over and over.
on the back burner. Might be 2k10 from the looks of it. I mean they have shown the same amount of footage as the just announced MAG. Which is to say nothing but CG.
"What I still find baffling, though, is the lack of PS2 backward compatibility after it shipped in the initial versions (like my 60GB original). I don't get it. What's the message here?"
The message here is that the your guys (the media) kept pounding Sony on the price. So Sony responded by dropping the cost of production to shut you guys up.
"Let's start with the 80GB PlayStation 3, same as the 40GB PlayStation 3 for $400 this September. 80GB good, o...
according to the Sony Press conference. I wonder if its the same game or will there be differences.
When I saw the price of $14.99 I was thinking 2 hours or so.
Thank god I never bought one of these machines.
Its Nintendo. They don't give a crud about 3rd parties. Why do you think everyone was so happy to jump ship to the Playstation back in 1995.
