It helps to be owned by a larger company.
Shsh! You had me at Breasts.
The new Blade Runner?
Looking good :)
It is ridiculous, that a360 version with a higher resolution will get a couple more % because "it's just better".
But when a PS3 version is released with a whole new social framework for consoles (steamworks), it's "about the same".
Sadly true.
I enjoyed RDR and GTAIV considerably more on PS3 than I did my friends 360. Whether it was the severe pop-up or the whirring of the jet-like fans of the 360, I don't know.
But I didn't not care at all that the resolution was slightly lower.
"the resolution considerably lower"
Which is only noticed on zooming in 8X magnification.
I can feel the rage welling up indie of me!
1. Don't listen to the fans. Their hearts are in the wright place, but like StarFox, they ruined the franchise.
2. Make a 2D HD sprite game. None of this 2.5D 3D model crap.
3. The only acceptable playable characters are Sonic, Tails, maybe Knuckles.
4. Get the original music composer out of retirement.
5. Make the game about two things:
5a. Speed.
5b. Rings.
6. Don't make it episodic you greedy shits. Episodic releases are for s...
It always amuses me when marketeers and salesmen can't tell the difference between their asses and a hole in the ground.
It isn't difficult, is it? "Hey, we're being paid to represent the 360... I guess we'd better just troll Youtube for clips"
Prototype was a another free roam disappointment from Activision.
inFAMOUS was the best superhero game to be released that year... that was until Arkham Asylum came out.
We were lucky to have two of the best superhero games ever released in one year. And I hope we get the same this year.
Protoype 2 will be another "Also ran" in a long line of disappointing Activision games.
PS3: it only does everything!
I'm waiting for it to be used by a Bond villain.
Maybe if they were worth reading.
I used to love reading the manual - it was as much a part of the game and its setting as any of the characters. It gave you something to do whilst it installed (you reading this MGS4, GT5 developers?).
Now they're nothing. Just functional, legal disclaimers in case somebody were to sue the publishers for playing a broken game.
Making a good Spider-Man game seems to be difficult enough for them.
Unfortunately all of Microsoft's best characters have the handicap of not being able to leave their chest-high wall cover.
"Wii2 will probably have an ATI R700 series GPU."
Well "probably" is good enough for me!
Oh Look Another "Worst games of platform X"
For the record, Lair has never been forgotten - how are you meant to write satirical articles on games nobody remembers?
"Sure, the visuals are actually stunning but that detracts so heavily from the actual gameplay"
The graphics were so good, it makes the game play badly. You read it here first.
Since Bethesda know a lot of folk (me included) wait for the GOTY edition at a reduced price, it would not surprise me if they release this with just one DLC, and make you pay for the others.
Though the last time I checked, a GOTY edition means the game had to be nominated GOTY by somebody... Did I miss that news announcement?
Looking forward to this... but
"A pricey release, it’ll cost $19.99/14.99 euros/11.99 pound"
Sadly there are many games on the market £12 or more. It may be a tough sell in other countries, but here we just bend over and take it like it's a sport.
It's not really a leak if one of the people working on a project announces it publicly in an interview on the official UK website, is it?
It's not like they wondered "hey, why are we interviewing this woman, we never thought she'd be in the sequel despite being a popular character of the original"
Good news is good news, though.
The one reason I contribute to the bundles is that the games run on Linux.
I've said it before, I'll say it again.
Kinect reviewers must be easily pleased if their willing to give this 50% max (according to metacritic) Wii port a whopping 8/10.
