Bah Zing!
Yup, I just just remember the comparisons to Gears in some for the reviews for Civilization, The Sims 3, Farmville, Bejeweled, and other games that make more money.
"Hey guys, if you get the sales, we'll give you the advertising!"
"Why would we give you the advertising, when you're already selling so well?!"
Team Meat need a manager with bigger balls. The Nickel and Dime is the oldest trick in the book.
"old-fashioned and generic as a result"
They can say what they like about any game. But when they use a word like "Generic" to describe a game, they lose credibility.
"Generic" has no place in any review. Generic to what? How is the game like very other game? WTF do you mean by generic? First you say it's "Old Fashioned", then you say it's "Generic" it can't be both!
Twice as long as the original!
I hope half of it isn't just a tutorial.
No mention of Operation Flashpoint
Too hardcore for the FPS crowd?
Under PEGI, Rugby would certainly get a 16. Strangely, boxing would probably get the same rating, not a higher one despite the escalated violence.
I just checked Motorstorm, as I guy I worked with wondered if it would be suitable for his kid. It's rated 16 by PEGI on PS3, and 12 on PSP.
Why? The PS3 version has "realistic looking violence towards humans". Whereas the PSP isn't powerful enough to deliver "realism", so it gets a pass. W.T.F? It's a racing game!
Why can't they take it into context? Yes People get battered about in motorstorm, but only when they're r...
Carnival Games on Wii ~ 50%
Carnival Games on 360 ~ 60-80%
Damn, Kinect users are easy to please!
That's the point. SONY want you to buy the games, but only at that people will think you're poor.
You might get lucky though, when a platinum is released retailers often try and get rid of the originals cheap.
e.g. I picked up Final Fantasy XIII for £10, because the week later they got in the platinum version, which they now sell for £15.
With a cooling fan that loud, it was never meant to be anything more than a console for kids' bedrooms, like most consoles before it.
But it's always lacked the family friendly image.
I don't think Microsoft ever thought kinect would catch on, and now that it has, goodbye gameplay!
Introducing.... The RareLionheadHalo Box
"With the RareLionHeadHalo Box, you can do ANYTHING!"
The problem with having some awesome exclusives, is that I already bloody have them!
I suppose it's better than what Nintendo do: Keep all their best sellers at an artificially high price.
Still waiting on Dino Crysis for EU, SONY.
How about you stop releasing over-prices former EIDOS stock, and give us something decent!
There goes the Fable series!
I'm sure I saw most of these shots in the preview video posted about a month ago.
UH.... QUICK! GET YOUR FLAME RETARDANT GEAR ON!
Seriously, has anybody doubted this? The CELL is an incredible piece of hardware when people use it.
I'd put Uncharted 2 or Killzone 3 up against any game on PC, and they'd stand well.
I'd love to see CELL being used by GPU manufacturers.
Declining for some genres, increasing in others: see inFAMOUS 2, Little Big Planet, Mod Racers, GMod, Minecraft.
It's hard to be disappointed when there's so many things on sale. But it really is disappointing.
Blade Kitten might be worth a look at that price, but the full games can still be found cheaper on BluRay!
It's all well and good saying Ubisoft set the price of content, but when SCEE can't even set a competitive price, you know they just don't get it.
That's not split screen. That's "Turning your expensive 40" TV into two 16" screens"
Give us back the old splitscreen, I don't care about the aspect ratio, - I want to be able to use the entire screen.
