"if you notice uncharted 3 only looks a tad bit better than uncharted 2 what does that tell you ?"

It tells us that Naughty Dog got it right first time.

If more games, looked as good as the Uncharted series, nobody would care if the consoles are maxing out.

Most console games till don't look much better than 5 year old PC games.

Good, then that should mean more games up to the beautiful standards of Uncharted 2, Flower, Mass Effect 2, surely?

Saying the hardware has hit its limit is often a common excuse for "we can't make it better without an upgrade".

Sadly most games are still a long way from looking as good as they could.

Awesome... Only 5 years late.

But in all seriousness, as each generation ages we should expect to see better looking games, as developers learn to get to grips with the hardware.

I saw the Game of Life image on her chest and thought... don't we just call that "The Sims"?

Anyway - we need more board games everywhere! But then I rediscovered my love of them during the PSN outage, so I'm biased.

Not taking security seriously does not mean they were at fault.

But they must be held accountable for the lack of security.

Companies are far too frivolous with our information.

Trophies are responsible for making me play a game more than once.

Before I had a hard time replaying a game (even if I loved it), that's if I'd even complete them.

They're not for everyone, But you're free to ignore them.

"being able to buy/sell the maps they created"... So not all like CoD Elite, then?

It's fun to play pretend, but in a time when the average internet connection was around 28.8kbps (about 8 naked per night to those of you who want a practical metric), persistent online meta data was not really going to be used.

Quake was most popular with the LAN crowd. So when you all get together coding the infrastructure of online sharing is a waste when you c...

Mediocrity.

Oh, and a plot directly ripped from another Activision game: Singularity.

"New links

It's a completely different game!

"“And shoot, once we’re out ten years cloud-based gaming is almost a shoe-in. It’s not a shoe-in this year or next year, but if you look ten years out, piping everything over a broadband connection, there are huge advantages to doing that.”

Will this mean the end of home consoles? “It might,” said Carmack."

Means the end to PC gaming as we know it, too.

I played Wolverine, and enjoyed it. But it's not one of the Top superhero games by a long shot.

"Really pretty good" != Top

You mean Top 2, and the 3 most mediocre? Right?

BluRay.

As much as I love the idea of streaming, you've only got to use some services (iplayer for example) to see how ill-prepared a lot of companies are when it comes to server power, line speed.

Even with a 17meg line, if we're watching something on iplayer when everybody is catching up on dross like Eastenders, forget about it.

Hahaahahahahaha

Milking Halo?! What a funny thing to say in an industry populated by so many Italian plumber, football and gridiron, and WWII shooters!

I'd say Core gamers are the first to get a technology, and the first to abandon it once they realize it's nothing but broken promises:

1) Company announces tech
2) We believe the hype, and imagine the possibilities
3) Tech is released, we buy it, play launch titles to death
4) Next year: "Core games are coming!", uh, ok.
5) Next year after that: "We never abandoned core gamers!", uh, what?!
6) New company.......

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FF!

Ancel created a beautiful marvel on clunky last gen consoles, we have magnificent looking games like Uncharted 2, Mass Effect 2, Skyrim on or coming to current gen.

So what's his excuse exactly? He could make it on current high-end PCs? Why? The PC port of BG&E was an after thought, so why is it suddenly the lead?

More bull from Ubisoft. They stopped BG&E2 back then because the Prince of Persia s...
