Being very early footage is doesn't always mean anything. How many times have we seen early footage of a game only for it to be toned down before launch? But I don't think this will be the case with this game. The original Dead Space was so ahead of its time when it launched and looked like a next gen game years before the next gen consoles came out. Me and my friends are having a ton of fun with this game. It's not the most amazingly made game of all time, and the missions are all the same type thing, but it is a lot of fun and very hectic.

No, but games like XCom don't have flashy amazing graphics and character designs. Have you never seen or played one? They're cutscenes look similar to this, and the top-down view of strategy games don't require character models to be the best thing ever.

Spider-Man PS4 really is Arkham with a Spider-Man skin. But it also heavily improved on everything the Arkham games did. It is a much better game, if not original.
