This is one of those times where its completely accurate to say that people complaining about the game likely haven't played it and just listened to the pre-release, pre-day 1 patch reviews of the game.

BF4 was great also.

I haven't experienced any NPC's disappearing or screen flickering. I actually have had texture pop ins, but very rare. But unless that stuff is constantly happening, which it isn't, then I consider all of that minor and something that almost all open world games suffer from here and there.

But I've had no crashes, mission issues, save game issues, or anything even close to game breaking. Like I said, I've really not even had anything very minor happen ...

Well it's not a broken mess. Have you played it?

1582d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Right. Literally the only thing I've seen is a zombie stuttering over an obstacle once.

And my character stuttering while trying to pick up an item once. But thats seriously it.

How is it a mess? I've literally had no problems on Performance mode.

Just because people don't experience the same things as you doesn't mean they didn't play the game. But the reviewers made it sound like you couldn't play it without having issues, and that isn't true at all.

I would have been perfectly fine with adding more to it, like the broken Archstone. I just don't think the gameplay should change outside of quality of life updates.

I think the Day 1 patch fixed most of the things reviewers were crying about. I've been playing this on PS5 since launch day and have not encountered anything bad at all. No glitches or bugs whatsoever. It's been an absolute blast

But this is why reviewers should know that if they are playing a game before launch, then they are likely playing an incomplete game.

Does it suck that games get released with day 1 patches? Yeah, probably. But if that ...

In my opinion, this is 100% how remakes should be made. Same basic thing, but with updated sound, graphics, and gameplay. But not DIFFERENT gameplay.

If people want completeky new gameplay mechanics then they don't want a remake. They want a sequel. Thisnis why FF7 Remake fell flat for me. It should have been turn based. If people wanted a real time action game they should have made FF7-2.

And to form an opinion on the story.

Step 1: Buy Capcom
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit

World domination through the profitable funds of Resident Evil sales, obviously. Lol

@DefiledViper

Sony buying Bungie wasn't them "fighting back" at Microsoft. They were in talks to buy Bungie like 6 months ago. Before anyone even knew MS was buying Activision/Blizzard.

This is just wrong lol. So Saudi Arabia invested in Capcom. Supposedly they invested in Activision previously too, and we all know who just bought them last month. They basically just want a piece of the profits from the sounds of things.

Not saying it's okay, but there's a big difference between murdering people on purpose and accidentally killing people. There are better examples. The US has killed more people, on purpose, than people know. But then again, I'm sure Saudi Arabia has too. So I guess what I'm saying is, yeah, all governments are dicks. Except maybe Canada? You never really hear about them doing anything like this lol.

The funny thing is the devs for this game even said "Hey, don't play this before launch!"

I wonder why they said that? Hmm. Could it be because there was a day one patch to fix issues? And that's the thing. I understand reviewers judging a game based on how it was when they played it. But without the day one patch they are playing a pre-release version of it. So it's not going to be accurate.

Yes, all of that. Or, here's another crazy idea. Use BF4, BF3, or Bad Company 2 as a blueprint. Update the graphics. Add more guns. Add more vehicles. Add a few new match types. And add new maps.

Boom. People are happy. It's that easy. The blueprint is there. Why are they trying to change everything to not be Battlefield?

1588d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's insane to me. Like there isn't a perfect blueprint for what to do. BF3. BF4. Bad Company 2. Use ANY of those as a blueprint and just release new guns, vehicles, graphics, game modes, and maps. Everyone will be thrilled.

The devs said to not play it before launch. So one can reasonably assume there is a day one patch to fix some of these bugs.

1588d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

The devs did say not to play it before launch. Which tells me there's a big day one patch to fix some things.
