Same. I loved FFX, and I really wish they didn't get away from that style.

To me, part 1 was good. But thats all it was. Just good. Nothing special.

But I was never going to like this remake as much as I could have, because instead of turn based they made it this real time action thing that FF has been doing for over a decade now.

Well, Batman hasn't had a solo film since The Dark Knight Rises, 10 years ago.

I really hope you're talking about the 90's MK movie and not that abomination from last year.

You don't speak for me. Yes, I do want a new Shaolin Monks, but not at the loss of MK12 or Injustice 3.

Multi-player? Fallen Order says hi. Also Squadrons. While it was MP, it had a fantastic and lengthy campaign.

Fallen Order and Squadrons were both fantastic games with no paid content. I wouldn't be surprised if Disney put their foot down on EA after the Battlefront 2 fiasco.

Still waiting on the PS5 update.

I still have my PS4 disc. I played it a few times but it was unbearable and full of ridiculous glitches. Haven't touched it again since. I really want to play a good version of this game, but I'm afraid even the PS5 update won't fix everything.

I feel like the Silent King in Dark Souls 3 took me that long on his own.

Train to Busan was fantastic. The sequel sucked though.

But I'm still a huge fan of the Dawn of the Dead remake. I'm not sure anything can top that.

The sequel broke my heart.....

@Strotee

Train to Busan
Dawn of the Dead
Alive
The Night Eats the World
Shawn of the Dead
28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later

There are others, but I don't remember them all. There are also a lot of really bad zombie movies....

Also, I prefer slow zombies. But in now way do I have hate for fast zombies either.

Agreed.

1604d ago 8 agree1 disagreeView comment

Why would they? There haven't been any good zombie games since the first one came out.

I love zombies. I'll watch every zombie movie that releases. I just don't get tired of them. But good zombie games are hard to come by.

I'm 100% NOT cheering up industry consolidation or monopolies. All I'm saying is what the government will allow. Everything else you said is on point. It sucks that MS is doing this and it's not good for the industry.

But at the end of the day, there are still quite a lot of other developers and even consoles in the world for people to get games from that aren't owned by Microsoft. So the government will 100% not view this as a Monopoly. You can take that to...

Playstation is the biggest platform for Call of Duty........right now.

But that can easily change. It starts slowly, with timed MS exclusives for the full game. Then specific DLC that only releases on MS. Or timed DLC. Or exclusive weapons only found on MS.

Then suddenly Xbox becomes the biggest platform for CoD.

No, movies aren't gaming. But a Monopoly is a Monopoly, no matter what business you're talking about.

A Monopoly is when one company has become the sole distributor of a product. Such as movies, videos games, etc.

As long as there are still enough companies out there that are still making and distributing games, that aren't owned by Microsoft, or Disney with movies, then it isn't a Monopoly.

You can bet your bottom dollar that everyone at Activision / Blizzard that was even slightly involved in those ethics issues will be quickly fired as soon Microsoft assumes full control of the company. Which likely won't happen until sometime late this year or early next year.

They didn't buy them for their business practices. They bought them for their franchises. They will clean house and operate the company the way the see fit moving forward.

Unfortunately, if Disney buying Fox Entertainment wasn't viewed as a Monopoly by the government, then this won't be either.

1607d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment

People keep throwing this word around, but this doesn't make MS a Monopoly.

A Monoply is when one organization is the sole distributor of a product. There are still tons of other developers and companies making video games. As long as those exist its technically not a Monopoly.

Just look at when Disney bought Fox Entertainment. When that happened it left the movie industry in a much worse place than this. There are far less movie studios not owned by...
