It's not really whether or not the writer of this article wanted all of MGS4's cutscenes or not. He's just pointing out that they're one of the rules film students are told when getting a [film] degree.
I'd say that's a horrible choice when looking at R6V being a cheaper option.
Quite possibly one of the best lists I've seen in awhile. The article was an insta-win after seeing Lucasarts at #1. I personally have enjoyed The Force Unleashed series, the Monkey Island remakes, and the LEGO Star Wars games, but that's about it.
@WANNAGETHIGH
Gran Turismo 5 is going to be a year old in late November and it's still selling for $60 new from the like of Gamestop, Best Buy, etc. Sales nearing 7 million and likely hitting 10 million in the near future, I think it's safe to say Sony sell their exclusives fairly well.
That's a stupid question (not the title, the question in the summary). There's no reason for PD to rush a DLC announcement just for the sake of taking a jab at the competition.
And a Playstation logo to win over n4g.
Edit: But seriously, it will also need an innovative feature that progresses a genre forward, while also being 51% of the gameplay. Subtle additions are a start, but it has to be much more for the cost of the device.
Although I may be in the minority (not sure), I hope they refrain from adding on DLC achievements. I don't mind it for Waw/Black Ops, but I've become accustomed to it the simple 1000 in IW's CODs.
^Thx for info.
Upon reading criticims, I recalibrated the scores in gameplay & sound. Although I'm not forced to diligently follow averages when weighing in the final score, the category scores may have come off as being too divisive with the overall score, which may have caused some head scracthing. I was wrong in giving this game some scathing remarks when understanding that they still feel complete and functional.
I'm truly sorry for the rubber banding of the overall scor...
You know it's bad when they don't even include the game that invented the genre (Wolfenstein 3D).
Changed to just being a Fresh badge since the it's still an early IW Call of Duty game.
I wouldn't call it great, although comparing it to Super Mario Galaxy or Tetris? C'mon who are you really fooling.
Even when considering Planescape: Torment's great philosophy, I'm not sure why one wouldn't find KOTOR's story to be great. Of course we all have our own opinions, but I think it's important to understand the ins and outs of weaving through the canon material they set up which propels the game further. Believeable timeline after Exar Kun, new enemies, interesting choices, etc.
You can check out my R1 + R2 reviews to see what I think about him. Capelli has better character development in Resistance 3's first level than Hale in the first two Resistances combined. You should be glad you didn't make "any of those wagers" you mentioned.
You'd rather play a Vin Diesel knockoff with no emotional background rather than a family man fighting against all odds?
Why is EA one of the tags?
Imo, it's not that hard to imagine when you're talking about a genre that shows it's more interested in an arcade-style of play (look at CoD/Halo sales)
I didn't find R3's updates/patches to be nearly that jarring (20-40 mins). It was the framerate problems online that I noticed the most.
That's not necessarily the case. I'm Bioware does have a conceived plan for that IF things go south. I think it's safer to say they're proactively planning for an f2p model, but it's more of an afterthought compared to preparing the make this the best MMO it can be.
Some many tend to ignore that Gears 2 had a few colorful vistas as well. The mission after the tutorial shows off some great snow-capped mountains.
