How can it be slowly doing that when it has features not found on other consoles?
"Yes...ND never disappoint."
I don't see how any Jak and Daxter fan can't be disappointed by the way the last third of Jak 3 panned out. That's one of my fav. series and I'm still bummed how dumb the last 1/3 turned out.
I definately need to pick this up in the near future.
That's a bit unfair considering GOTY's weren't in vast amount of quanitites when some of the Unreal Tournement games were created. I'm pretty sure UC2 has won twice as many GOTY's as Ocarina of Time, but you wouldn't call out jealous Ninty fanboys.
Majority of FPS fans will appreciate R3's campaign and core mechanics. I'd imagine the campaign will be considered the best out of all the FPS of 2011.
"However Bioware are a decent developer..."
Bit of an understatement :P.
I personally think it looks like some of those mechanics are a bit...shoddy. This is coming from someone who's fav. series this gen is Mass Effect. I'll reserve my final judgement for the game itself, but I wish the close up battles felt a bit more refined than a "new omni-blade stabbing" mechanic.
Let's play the game before handing that title out.
How dare they give R3 a 7/10! I demand a full bio on past game reviews, and sullying their names for any scores disagreeable with the n4g community. >:(
Edit: Disagree? C'mon, a guy can have fun, right? :P
You should play the Shenmue series.
Didn't Demon's Souls (over 1 million copies) and Borderlands (millions of copies) already prove that in 2009?
"Like the design is actually thought out!"
Why can't I get agrees for saying essentially the same thing? :P
If all you got was "Ayn Rand Objectivism" out of all the other undertones in the game, then you and I must've not played the same Bioshock.
Thank you.
Are you insinuating Spec Ops is archaic design? In reality, all of the maps were tweaked to supplement 2 players anyway. You certainly can't call these co-op mechanics dated when they deviate from the monotony of other co-op modes.
Yes, it's always been 2 player.
Although many on here won't agree, Gears does have a good story overall when the books are involved (and only then). It's just that the games give players so much bland dialouge and underdeveloped themes from the first 2 (haven't played 3) to even care.
I'd also like to add that any article that has "GOD" and "Manifest Destiny" so closely together has a very under-researched point of view on that matter. If an editor from the site sees ...
Why are we instantly assuming these things when we don't even know the actual quality of the MMO yet? They bring something that's closer to WoW's LVL 20 model in the future, but I don't see how anyone can anticipate an f2p model in the near future.
Sigh...I'm worried about hearing MP news. I'll be fair to wait until I see what the final product offers, but I still hate the idea of all resources (possibly) not being used on the singleplayer.
I was calm to begin with, sorry if that came off otherwise. I did and can disagree with your statement only to kindly disagree with that statement (don't have any ulterior motives for the agree/disagree counter). The same way you can disagree with XBL's pricing.
