Honored to know you enjoyed it :).
Hope everyone enjoyed the review :D. Feel free to leave any comments or questions in the comment section. Since I'm still mid 30's lvl in TOR, I might try to squeeze in a scathing review of Brink (really disappointed in it thus far). A 10 and a 9.3 back-to-back makes me too positive for my own good :P.
Their other option was "Alan Wake: Deliverance".
I've always found the gunplay to be off throughout the series, in one aspect or another. UC3's is the only case where it felt more like I'm required to get used to it, rather than it coming off like a design flaw.
Enjoying different games then you doesn't mean they're not a "proper gamer". My sis enjoys the Blazing Angels series (flight sim) as much as the Dance Central games.
As a poster who had 6 bubbles and then 5 a day or so later, I don't think "broken" would be the right word to use; perhaps "strict" would be a better one. I personally like that because it's demanding posters be more consistant in their criticisms/comments/etc. I'd rather have a system where it an extra bubble feels like a badge itself, rather than a system where an obvious troll can make more comments just because he/she decided to make an intelligent post. ...
My crystal ball says Mezzo will win at least 1 standard game in the January Contest :P.
At least they were able to give their award after the year was over.
I'd personally like it IF they add all of the maps (DLC included). Some amazingly varied maps to behold in that game.
"Probably the worst Halo, imo."
I disagree with that as well. If I did [agree], I'd still smile knowing a term like "worst Halo" still means it's a solid FPS.
Nice review to start off the new year. RUS FU DAH!
I'm curious to see the cover just to know what GameInformer's definition of "old school gamers" really means.
This bundle released in September.
Perhaps we should encourage users to read the context of the review for themselves; not extrapolate our own meanings in order to smear a review over a great score.
Which is why I said "I'm not disagreeing with the variety of games part;..."
What I'm speculating is quality of a publisher shouldn't be so narrowly focused on the games. Can't we argue that "most ethical" should go into this determination as well?
That's what the graphics part is for.
@StolenSoul
That logic doesn't really work. While Ubisoft is doing the same online pass ordeal, it's because EA was the first to show it was something they could exploit and they have shareholders to please. It would be the same if PSN and Ninty's online services had subscription like XBL. Blame would be constantly thrown at MS because of discovering a new avenue to make more money.
I'm not disagreeing with the variety of games part; however, I find no possible way EA should even be considered a "good" when they're the main proponents behind Online Passes, Nickel and Diming schemes to casual games (like Tetris), Bad PR to EXPIRED Online Pass Codes, shutting down dozens of their servers almost every year, and the list goes on and on. Fans should be outraged at their initial support for SOPA (their stance has changed since then) as well.
My main's only 29 and I'm taking it pretty slow as well. Just running a flashpoint (Cademinu) over and over again because it's enjoyable and easy to burn through for Light Side points/Social Points.
Fallout 3 isn't exactly polished to a mirror sheen like you allude it to be. If you the ran two side by side, you'd probably only find 10% more bugs in NV then 3.
In all honesty, I sometimes wish they didn't bother connecting each Zelda together-in fears of it convuluting everything. I may be one of the few here, but I enjoy the idea of each Zelda having supposedly different characters with the same name, save in Majora's Mask. It always created this illusion of the series being a "perpetual stanza" (if I had more descriptive terms, I would use them) when it comes to certain facets of the series. The reason I can enjoy each narrati...
