It's surprising but I think they have to do that for most of their articles (it's OXM after all). I vaguely recall a few multiplat-heavy lists from them before that also say "on Xbox 360."
He didn't have to deal with bad jokes from the internet so there's that positive. XD
Don't see why that matters at all tbh.
You've just crossed the line. I may find immature statements on both sides of this argument (that are actually mildly amusing), but at least everyone refrained from suggesting a poster being struck by an oncoming vehicle because of how 'strongly' their opinion is being presented.
Hope everyone enjoyed the blog. :)
Despite my trilogy, dubbed "Truth Trilogy," wrapping up I can assure you that another set will happen in the future. Don't worry, I'm not going to wait 18 years for the next trilogy in order for picture quality to improve here on n4g :P.
While there are other instances similar to the cases mentioned, I figured some posters with a better understanding of it may comment on them. Heck, even wrinkles to the ...
So long as the length is solid and provides a good amount of extras for me to dive into, no co-op option isn't a big deal to me.
Basically the notion of asking the reviewer to be as fair as possible. Sorry, it's just that your wording was a bit confusing in your first comment to me. Try as you might, one can't remove personal feelings from their opinion. That's the problem when playing a role that's completely subjective: no two people will see the same thing.
As for the Battlefield/ Modern Warfare portion, I think there's justification in slamming DICE's most recent SP entry...
"Sure reviews are based on opinion but also one must remove "personal" feelings when reviewing a game.."
I'm confounded by this portion of your comment. Can you elaborate on this?
I'm getting the same problem too.
Are you sure it was porno? Are you sure it wasn't nothing?
A game called 'Omikron: The Nomad Soul' for Windows and Dreamcast.
I would like to get my hands on it eventually.
It would be interesting to see how this compares to other locations like Rapture. The notion of creating an entire new wrinkle in Star Wars lore, especially to a planet we all thought we knew so well, already has me keeping an eye on it.
Your childhood memories of it practically mirror my own. Whether anticipating new ones in the mail or perusing older issues the library kept, I had a blast reading them.
May ye rest in peace, Nintendo Power. :'(
Where exactly did I say anything different?
I don't deny consoles can't handle tessellation, AA and high res textures. Where you're finding that I say otherwise is beyond me. If you could look past insipid labeling of posters that bring up legitimate points perhaps there's hope for this conversation yet.
"Fav. part of the game was setting booby traps..."
So that was you all along? O_o
I can kinda understand #2 b/c they were characters with character and not weighed down by the need for incessant cursing as their only character development. The writers have a chance with Bad Co. 3 to make fun of its own storyline too.
I didn't come in here asking to play the pixel-counting game with great looking PC titles and great looking console titles. My reply's obvious intent was for you to stop drinking the 'PC elitist kool-aid' for one second to consider if art styles could have held more influence in their choices than DX11 support.
There have been many games relegated to just consoles and handhelds that have amazing art designs.

Certainly was worth the time, but it was overly reliant on quotes for other game storytellers (which you can listen to their podcasts that go into much greater detail). I personally can't agree with the notion that cutscenes should be considered regressive to game storytelling either.
He does bring up a good point that today's writers really are the pioneers for the industry though.
A healthy portion of the internet before gamescom happened.
