Thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by Sandy.
Thanks for the prize :)
Hope everyone enjoyed the review.
I don't mean to complain over one word but I thought it fair to state this:
Please do your best to refrain from using the term 'retarded.' I know a few people that are actually that. Be better than this foolish designer behind one of the most crass shooters of this gen.
Just had to say that. :)
Are reviews from the MMORPG News website allowed?

Dang it, Cat! I thought making a brand-spanking new birthday thread for you would've earned me infinite comments for last month. I even wrote a poem for this event (which my mom says is the sharpest piece I've written yet):
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Hope your birthday was full of surprises
Now gimme' more prizes!
Seriously though, congrats to all winners. :)
I probably had one of the easiest, worst-paying jobs in the country a couple of months back so I was stuck with gift card money (thanks n4g!) to buy cheap games.
Hope everyone enjoyed the review! Feel free to comment/PM with questions or comments. :)
Since I recently moved to a temp. residence without internet (the horror! :P), please be patient when it comes to me commenting back or rectifying any grammatical faults you may spot in the review. Thank you.
You should see the n4g forums. :P
CoD2 adds up to the normal length of an FPS of past gens.
In Battlefield 3's case, I think "competent single player story" would be more appropriate.
Given that playing it "safely" around objectives for a scorestreak boost could invariably improve the team's chances of winning that match, where's the problem?
Are you going to use my idea [listed in previous contest blog] to get more users' attention? If so, I believe one of -Mezzo-'s bubbles will suffice as a reward.
It's really up to the reviewer to explain in the text or the comment section. To me, it comes off as the 'one-on-one' conversation the reviewer has with the viewers to say: "other qualities not listed resonated with me more than expected."
Since there's no dedicated list for story, storytelling, atmosphere, etc, they typically end up in that spot for me.
Can't say I share the same experiences with you when it comes to the patched version of Lair (played last year). Both clipping issues and slowdowns occurred more than just once in my play time, but that's a small concern compared to the finger dexterity I needed to fly and go into Dragon Vision (Sixaxis controls felt like they just squeezed by with a passing grade for 'quality control' to approve) and other egregious gameplay errors.
It's tough to really ...
There is the option to buy just one copy.
;)
I might need to grab this sooner than I initially planned just for the possible fun of reviewing it. :P
The user reviews I've seen on here--this one included--have done a great job of explaining their praises for it (specifically the story).
- The enemy AI was terribly bland
- Despite Vekta supposedly meant to be 'Earth-like' the team decided to coat most settings with this gray lens filter. Most locations didn't feel realized like they should.
- The inception of Rico
I wouldn't say it was a bad title though. The "Halo-Killer" title will-unfortunately-always loom overhead, but past the hype it was still a decent FPS.
You can take the NOTE off now since it's been approved. :)
Have you ever heard of a game called Castle Clout?
Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory were both definitive console versions; however, I liked the GC version of the original more because the CG intro--whereas the Xbox version just have Lambert tell you the situation in Georgia--and the extra mission.
