Although I find Metro 2033 to be far away from a 9/10 FPS, I'm a bit excited to see if Last Light can make all of the series' impressive concepts finally work. If that's the case, this sequel will undoubtedly be one of the best shooters of 2013.

Even when it's not compared to the rest, I don't see what's so great about Episode 1. I just simply hated the idea of retreading such similar geometry from the end of HL2. Even the means of advancing became a bit of a bore, except for the ant lions in the parking lot. It's a solid expansion, but not a great one (imo).

Well...it's been a long time coming, but this bean has now reached the "old review age of youth." I'm 40! :'( Although the official tally says 41 when you check my profile (once both reviews are approved), I resubmitted a Call of Duty review some time ago under the right title. Although in this case, it seems financially unsound to have a DLC package release over a year since the game's original release, especially when it's campaign centered.
Either way, it gives me a little more impetus to replay for the obsessive compulsive achievement. XD
