The only mention of MW2 in ape's first post say "hire hans zimmer for soundtrack like MW2" (which was an excellent soundtrack btw), so what are you talking about?
"Is it wrong that I imagined this whole blog being directed at an empty chair?"
To be honest, I imagined it more like GalaticEmpire sitting in his throne room warning some of his entertainment slaves what's to be demanded of them next gen. :P
Think about MS' transition from Xbox to 360 and try to frame your accusations in that light: "MS ditched 6th gen first...do you really think 360 will last more than 4 years like the Xbox failed to do?" You'd probably vehemently disagree, even call me a troll, for proposing the notion that the 360 would "hold out the longest" on the announcement of its successor. As you can see, circumstances can fluctuate over time.
"So I ask you xbox fans, ...
Those people complaining of said destruction aren't using an arbitrary rationality like "X game must sell this much because I said so;" they're basing it off the unfair sales expectations EA themselves put forth for this threequel.

Shoot...I was very interested to buy at that price. Starhawk is sold out as well. :(
O_o
You have my support on that undertaking--and sympathy of having to even think of female FF characters from 13 and 13-2. :P
The problem is he didn't "praise the game all over." Even at the conclusion of the video review he calls the gameplay by-the-numbers and didn't think the MP was compelling enough to keep players continually coming back to it.
"This submission is meant to be an open discussion on what people think about the game itself..."
The comment section in your review is there to serve that purpose.
"without the labels of 'review scores.'"
That's irrelevant. Blogs aren't the place for an extension of discussion on your review just because a few numbers are missing.
Funny...I actually wanted to get a blog about changes from beginning to RotHC.
I'll admit, my enjoyment started to wane once the profusion of cartel market items can into effect. Hopefully the new story content delivers.
As I figured from the beginning, that makes what I said in my first comment a legitimate reaction to the context in the blog.
You're going to have to expound upon what you meant then because the sentences before that portion focus on her new appearance and experiences, which in fact are more sensible given what's been provided by cgood.
I'm not sure how long this series will continue (don't know which games you've played), but there's promise to show an assortment of good characters in each episode.
I'd like to see Final Fantasy next for the sake of seeing the length of the blog. :P
When looking at this info, I can't help but roll my eyes at the "She's 'sensible' now" part of the blog.
Well...the whole blog uses that example more as a jumping board to what's currently happening in the community:
-Spreading of unproven rumors in order to seek attention
-Silencing those who want to challenge their info
-etc. etc.
It certainly walks a fine line between over-reacting and not, but it probably wouldn't be a DragonKnight blog without having that quality. :) :P
"LordSaber"
I'm detecting some inspiration from Star Wars. :P
Anyway, that's certainly a sad response to see simply because you "dared to question him." That's currently all I got to say lol (above comments covered this really well).
$20, I should say.
Those are excellent points.
To be honest: the only reason I'm interested in getting it for 360 (haven't as of yet) is because that's simply what my 'better' friends enjoy using. Regardless of how dramatically different the gimped version may be, just being able to whip out $15 for an fun time-waster (from what I've seen/heard) like this with friends is fine by me.
Plus, I don't live with my mom so I can't use her computer. :P...

From your blog: "If we wish games to be considered on the same level as Movies or Literature, then games have to be allowed to freely tackle any and all subjects without fear of recrimination. We have to grow up, grow a sense of humour, and learn not to let fiction upset reality. Games are not meant to represent any aspect of reality, thus if games...
"But I bared through the pain."
Are bad puns worthy of n4g's hall of shame? :P
Don't let me go through the pain of losing a bubble for asking that. :(
To be fair, the 'average' SimCity gamer who bought this game probably pre-ordered or bought Day 1 on good faith. It doesn't help matters when most game reviews posted before City's release were positive on metacritic, leaving people who could've canceled at the last second to be fooled into thinking Origin's servers were ready for them (IF they even knew about the always-on DRM).
There's also EA's angle to consider in this: blocking digital re...
