Angry birds is fun and great when you only have a few mins to spare to play.
@hicken:
I'm sure Sony did not forecast to sell less PS3s than PS2s and certainly not less than the PS1. Capitalism is about growth, not decline.
So, lets say the PS3 eventually outsells the 360 worldwide. Only a Sony fanboy could possibly see that as something to celebrate when you consider how far Sony has fallen since the previous gen. They have gone from a commanding first place to fighting it out for second.
However, if your just a gamer then you'll appreciate that having 3 consoles all in good shape makes for great competition and ultimately better value for us, the consumer.
Bring Diablo out on the vita then I'll be tempted to buy one.
Wrong assumption buddy. I am a long time PS3 owner. Do you really think just because I own a PS3 that everything Sony must be perfect or did you think that because I don't believe that Sony is perfect it makes me an Xbox fanboy?
Either way, get your head out of your a$$.
Why should average software sell? This was originally a showpiece for move...thanks Sony for yet more spin doctoring.
Given its a fairly solid game for the Vita I would have expected better sales numbers.
I have not been a PC gamer for years but am turning back onto the idea. The PS3 when it first hit NZ was around $1400NZD. Can actually build a pretty good upgradable gaming rig for less but the added bonus is that its also useful as a PC.
I have tired of consoles being positioned as so called media hubs when they don't support a lot of todays media formats.
Isn't the Vita supposed to be the ultimate console experience on the go? Weren't Sony selling the Vita as being almost as powerful as a PS3?
Why shouldnt Vita games be compared to console games.
It wont be a success unless something changes. I'm holding off but keen to get one if things start to pick up.
As long as they are fun keep em coming.
The only real problem with the game was the last level and especially the worst ending in a video game in a long while.
All about perceived value. If it was just about tech then by your reckoning the Vita should be flying off the shelves.
How much store real-estate does the Vita get at walmart? They seem to get very little in the stores in NZ. If a product is moving well retailers normally dedicate a good amount of in-store real-estate.
What else is Sony going to say, that they are disappointed with Vita's sales to date?
Vita is dead in the water unless something changes. When 7 year old tech (PSP) is still outselling it on a weekly basis you know Sony needs to make a change.
2 million in sales in 6 months? Sorry but only Sony can spin that as being positive. That would be at the very bottom end of their expectations.
Sony's year 1 target for the Vita I believe was 11 milliin units. Unless something changes this simply is unrealistic.
In comparisson, yes I know its a smart phone but it shows what mainstream sales means, the Galaxy SIII had 9 million preorders.
Funny, COD is seen as a bad thing yet it sells and could also be what pulls the Vita back from the brink of failure.
And this is why Sony needs to discount more aggresively on PSN. How can physical media cost less than digital?
Why would anyone be convinced to buy a Vita after today's showing from Sony. The Vita has no momentum and unless Sony does something soon its unlikely to start gaining any. I appreciate if you already have one you'll defend it, like I did the Go, but something needs to change otherwise its doomed to fail.
So, name a company that hasn't done that?
