E3 is fine, its the fanboyism they need to get rid of.
Why?
I thought you were describing the Vita launch as well there for a while.
I have 3....but since they dropped from 5 to 2 activated system I have purchased nothing off PSN.
Sony's pricing model did the Go no favors...seems like they learnt nothing from their previous mistake. If the Vita fails they can only blame themselves.
Every year we get these articles presenting what a vendor needs to do to win. Where's the article that says that it doesn't matter who seemingly comes first as it all means nothing.
Didnt Sony supposedly win last year with the Vita and look how well that turned out for them?
So its not the AAA system seller all the pre-release hype would have you believe. Go figure.
Basically the Vita is still in search of its killer app.
Its not the killer app Sony gamers have been talking up for the past 6 months though is it. This is not a system seller.
Most of those games you listed above were shovelware. The Vita lacks some AAA exclusives, not ports but exclusives. The Vita needs some AAA games and a price cut to attract more consumers. Games alone wont do it.
So what if the engine is basically the same if the game is fun?
Really not interested until I'm sure the Vita has a future. I got burnt with the Go.
This game was the reason I purchased Move...disappointing.
Agreed however, Sony can't still be claiming that Vita sales are within expectations. Not when the PSP is still outselling it.
Didn't take long. At least Sony are trying to remedy low Vita sales.
Low sales indeed, I expected better. For me I enjoyed the beta but as more and more joined there was less and less actual teamplay which ruined the experience.
Yet the Vita is limping along...
Europe, like everywhere else just are not buying into the Vita yet.
@OneAboveAll: how do you explain their love of Apple products?
@Tony:
I own 3 ps3s and online passes and less activated systems have made a big difference in my household. I also owned a PSP Go but got rid of it as soon as they announced they were dropping around it April last year.
As for MAG, Sony hyped that game big time and it was average at best. If they had cared about gamers they would have been honest about the game don't you think?
Explain to me how Sony cares about gamers again?
Less activated systems, on-line passes, talking up games like MAG then closing the company. Yeah, Sony cares.
Maybe "barren" of true AAA exclusives. I don't believe the Vita has its flagship game as yet.
