What they don't tell you is that they polled a bunch of people that only buy COD and Madden every year. Black Ops was such a crappy game, i can't even remember it. took you 10 hours to beat UC3? my first play through was on hard and i clocked in at just over 8.
conversely, i've put in over 100 hours on skyrim, and i've barely touched the main story.
i still say batman was better than both (and i hated the first one). it's a great campaign, just the right length, and tons of scavenger fun.

considering most console games are dumbed down to a point where they just drag you around by the nose, and all the interesting stuff happens in scripted moments or cut scenes, it's no wonder you think those games suck.
i didn't disagree when you made this edit, but i do disagree. i think people are easily duped into thinking the in-game graphics are as good as the cut scenes when they are night and day. the small items in the environments are generally just one solid color and lack any detail. the extras' character models are flat out BAD. and the detail in the weapons is minimal.
