Doesn't seem to be nearly as big as i would have expected for a blizzard game. i played the beta (which is just a demo), and i found it to be extremely boring. a game that was fun in the 90s isn't automatically fun now. this game is a prime example.
essentially all you're doing is spam clicking things so you can pick up loot to make clicking on things more efficient. it doesn't require any skill to play and since it's so repetitive, i can't imagine...

cuz COD doesn't have good gameplay. it has gameplay that is specifically designed for mass appeal.
i don't agree that graphics make the game. but i do think that a good developer will utilize every advantage including graphics and physics (eg, Half-Life 2).
having said that, i do have a graphical expectation from certain genres...doesn't mean they have to be top notch. and it definitely doesn't mean gameplay can be bad in exchange for graph...
unfortunately for sony, the only game people were really banking on this year was Last Guardian and the latest news about that game is bleak at best. My guess is that it'll be canceled or pushed back a few more years. i'm not sure what other big games they have this year. not that it really matters, the 3rd party games are really picking up the slack. unfortunately (again) for sony, MS usually gets 60-70% of 3rd party sales.

i thought 2009 was an incredibly weak year (even though AC2 was the best in the series so far) for gaming. 2010 was a little better. 2011 was insane though.
if they were coming out, the lineup would probably be a lot weaker.
