the problem with that is that this new race is really boring. i got to lvl 5 before i just didn't want to play anymore. ...which worked out cuz a fetch quest bugged and i couldn't continue anyway.
wow just seems like it's trying really hard to impress everybody by coming up with new tricks using the same decade old engine. it's really show its age these days.

plus, Halo 4 comes out this year...i haven't played either game, but i think it's safe to say that halo 4 will be received pretty well...
i've been playin this game for years now...since early vanilla. i just started playing the beta a few days ago and here's my impression of the new class/race/starting area. IT'S BORING! good thing they came up with those annual passes to trap so many of us suckers into playing for another year.

wow! is it possible to enter a 360 article without someone mentioning an uncharted game? if the game is so great (which it isn't), shouldn't you be busy playing it instead of constantly just talking about it?
the answer, of course, is no. because once you play uncharted MP for a few minutes, you realize it's a really crappy, tact on experience (not to mention incredibly easy) that really has no business being there.

it might add a "second layer of strategy" but it hurts the first layer. and don't call it strategy. there is nothing strategic about being able to count to 90. it means you depend on those weapons..they are a crutch. if it were up to me, there would be no rockets or snipers in halo. they're just there so baddies don't have to fight in the gauntlet with everyone else. easy kills for the cheapest players. if that's what you're looking for, play cod. then yo...
what's pathetic is that COD has had 7 tries this generation and still can't hit HD. yet, it sells a trillion copies every year.

I am a year older than the author, i have found that i'm just getting kinda bored with all entertainment. i think you just accumulate more and more experience and that makes "new" things feel less new.
speaking about games in particular...I made a list. and last year, of the 20 games i bought, i beat about 3 of them. and all 3 of those games were really short (uncharted 3, for example).

these are the games with the most gore. not violence...GORE. and TONS of games have more gore than any god of war game.
it's not just gamespot. someone in the mainstream game industry is finally just admitting what everyone with more than a 12 IQ already knew. these guys make money from adverting. companies will pull advertising if you don't give their game a good review.

i have to say, while i am impressed with the demonstration, they've been showing stuff like this for a number of years now. i'd like to hope physics like this will become standard one day, but i don't see it happening in the next generation.
