"Activision Blizzards super RPG"
umm...what? it's barely an RPG at all. and rockstar deserves the sales...cuz of the two companies, they actually appear to have put a real effort in making a good game.
...instead of releasing an unfinished game that has no imagination beyond the previous installment.
ME3's ending was fine and people are idiots for complaining about it. The entire third game reflected your decision in the previous games. people just love complaining. that's the result of raising a couple generations of entitled do-nothings.
How is it StarHawk's approach? Lots of companies not only give away maps...but they give away entire games. Valve, for example.
It'll sell really well...but it's nothing special.
Really? you're using the "he started it" defense?
very mature.
also, i've been coming to n4g for over 4 years and i've never seen those cop out comments the trolls/fanboys always make.
if the community doesn't grow the hell up, then how will gaming ever be taken seriously.
you intentionally took a jab at the 360, and yet i bet you take away anyone's bubbles who make the reverse comment.
...
they are NOT being greedy. They are being a publicly traded corporation who's sole reason for existing is to maximize profits for the shareholders.
there is only one way to turn it around, and that's to stop supporting them.
complaining about a company (or voting them worst company of the year) while simultaneously buying their games just makes you an imbecile. the corporation reacts to inCOME not inSULTS...if the current model no longer works, they...
this game is definitely on my radar, but this obnoxious, 12 year old kid (who can barely speak english) isn't doing anything to increase my interest.
They might be surprised...
I already have this game pre-installed, and yet i have no interest in playing it. I'll be playing Max Payne. Then, a week later when all the blizzard supporters realize it's not the great game they were hoping for, i'll be able to log in no problem.
@below: first, when did i say it's not a good game? second, who says i bought it?
i said it's not a the great game ppl are expecting. that doesn&...
unless you're running an eMachine from the pre-Gateway years, you should be able to max this game out.
"But there's one downside. Once the host quits, the world is lost and those creations will be long gone I'm afraid."
i would call that more than a downside...that's everything.
sony WOULD have more "ammo in the cache" if they weren't a once powerful company that is now trending way down in market value.
MS is worth 13 times as much as sony is, if they really wanted to, they could buy up dozens of third parties...which is what i see them doing in the next gen since they've shown that xbox is a very profitable brand.
sony, on the other hand, is worth 1/5th of what it once was. and with japan facing a potential, but ...
Title's a bit redundant...
unfortunately, snookies, you're wrong.
the core gamers want exclusives, but MS does not NEED exclusives. MS is perfectly happy offering a 200 dollar entertainment hub. They crush holiday sales and do better every year. Not to mention that they've done a good job of grabbing the majority of 3rd party sales by offering early DLC and a really strong online community.
and lets face it, Halo, alone, will sell as much as any 3 ps3 exclusives combined thi...
i'm no grammar nazi, but reading you comment really made me cringe. unless you're 6, you have no excuse for that.
i didn't chime in on the ps battle royal because i couldn't give 2 sh!ts about it.
am i supposed to "chime in" on everything that i don't care for? this wasn't enough?
also, if i actually read the article, i would have lost precious minutes of my life.
i've seen about a million articles on COD9 in the last 2 days. they have no quality or substance. it's just pandering to the bottom rung of the gaming community.
if you get a 50% on the paper that you wrote for history class, is that an average score?
C is average. 70-79.
with that said, i think websites should make more of an effort to define their scoring system.
EDIT: @ below: If a company is nickel and diming you, the only person you get to be mad at is yourself. nobody is forcing you to buy anything. and if your school gave you an average grade for a 50%, that would explain why most young pe...
very odd, cuz i'd give those games both 8/10. i think you're intentionally being a bit harsh to make a point that's already being made in this article.
also, the reason ppl take this stuff so seriously is because they don't do anything in their own lives that's praise worthy. so they have to project their accomplishments onto something/someone else.
it's the same reason ppl get 50 piercings and tattoos. or buy new clothes all the ti...
definitely a bummer. bayonetta is easily the best "button masher" i've played this generation. gow 3 being a distant second.
Disagree. It's the hybrids that are the most fun. Having to sift through tons of useless gear to find a good piece, then going back to a town to vendor so you have more room for more junk? uh..no thanks.
having talent trees which are meaningless cuz you know you're going to look up the best build anyway? uh..no thanks. that's the one thing that diablo 3 got right.
