I think the reason they are showing ps3 footage and not 360 footage is that they know they have nothing to prove with 360 owners. multiplat games usually sell better on 360 than ps3 (especially FPS) so they are trying to create a buzz for sony owners who probably weren't really looking for another COD-type game since they already buy COD.
the market for fps is better on 360, and DICE/EA want to sell on ps3 as well.

it was the best seller on steam for preorders for at least 2 weeks. i'm sure those numbers are much higher. wonder why steam doesn't release the numbers though? i'm sure they have a 100% accurate counter, too.
Gears 3 cuz it has the most intense multiplayer experience (shooter) in gaming that has an "oh shit" moment at least once per round. and the dedicated servers basically absolved the series of all my gripes about gears 2 (which were enough to make me quit playing).
seriously though, i've seen a million head shots in gears, and i still jump outta my chair when i get a crucial shot on someone. plus, just the way a body stops dead in its tracks and falls, headless...
I would agree they are my top choices too, but i wish ICO would get postponed til maybe January. i don't see how i'd have time to play that with gears coming out the week before and Rage coming out the week after.
Not to mention that they list 2 different soccer games. i can imagine one or the other being something you'd want to buy, but 2 soccer games in one month? you'd have to REALLY love soccer.
Gears of War 3 is a must have. the rest i'll have to think about. Probably Resistance...if i beat Deus Ex in time. I would love to get ICO and SOTC, but they'll have to wait...once Gears 3 hits, i'll be way to invested to invest in other games.
Most of the dialogue options are really just common sense...
Halo Reach is a good game.
i'm pretty confident that skyrim will outsell assassin's creed.
skyrim has been a long time coming and ppl have been drooling over it.
assassin's creed comes out every year and i hardly see anyone mentioning it. i LOVED AC2, but i was burned out by brotherhood. i think a lot of ppl feel the same way. not to say it won't be a great game.
MW3 will be the biggest november release, unfortunately. skyrim will be 2nd.
the beta turned me on.
i was ready to give up on the gears franchise after gears 2, but i was reinvigorated by the beta. looking forward to gears 3 MP more than any other MP game this year...by far. with battlefield at a distant 2nd.

actually, i saw this article about 24 hours ago(surprised it took so long to make its way to n4g). and this review doesn't provide a number which i think is one of the stipulations of the embargo.
either way, can't wait to play this. my first highly anticipated game this year.
probably cuz your school only cares about money and they have a revolving door policy to get students in and out for the sake of profits. they want it to be easy cuz your generation isn't smart enough to study and not get drunk every night.
