my biggest complaint about dead rising 2 was the time limit and sort of linearity of it. it made it virtually unplayable for me so this is something ive really been waiting for.
i wouldn't mind the time limit/mission structure if i could back out and go to a free play mode whenever i wanted. without that option dead rising 2 felt more like a chore to play. i couldn't take the time to necessarily do what i wanted with out it interfering with the story. sort of brought...
well they didn't rebuild the graphics from the ground up so there wont be an improvement in that department. i have a ps2 and gamecube copy and the hd version is vastly improved. its less of a foggy, hazy sd look and more of a clear, crisp hd visualization with trophy/achievement support. if you were expecting a complete current gen overhaul then yah i can see the disappointment cause thats not what it is. for 10 dollars though its a better experience than 80% of the current gen games tha...
rune factory is an awesome series. im glad we've got one coming to the ps3. would have picked up the wii version regardless.
when they raise the price of games to 100 a piece ill make sure to remind you to get a new hobby.
its not about being able to afford it or not. you have games that come out at 60 with a 4 to 6 hour playthrough. if you wanna buy those types of games cool, but generally speaking the price tag is to high. just because thats what the publisher wants doesnt mean we should buy or have to buy them day 1 for that much.
this one is different than tri. i mean its pretty much the same as any monster hunter game, but this is the psp release in hd. it does take a lot of time and dedication to stick with a MH game though.
its more like a lite rts with heavy exploration. its a really fun game. basically you have a rundown kingdom and as you explore you open up new areas, money opportunities, items, etc. you can then build up your kingdom with better defense, more houses, people, jobs etc. each person in your town can be assigned a job like carpenter or cook or whatever. as you progress you need a mixed group of people to advance farther and explore. it gets extremely addicting and rewarding, but overall its a w...
there was an article on n4g a while back saying that they are trying to bring the game stateside, but are running into a few roadblocks. looks like we'll probably get it eventually just not as soon as japan.

2 hits to the body and one to the head, that's how it should be. its not like it was that big of a problem with bc2, but i still ran into people regularly running around with m95 taking flags like it was nothing.
snipers in fps multiplayer gets out of hand. not just battlefied, but generally speaking. snipers need to snipe. not run around 1 shoting people. battlefield 3 seems to be going back to the core of sniping and balancing everything out. i mean you have a weapon th...
I WANT THIS GAME. man, that looks incredible. very similar to demons souls, but in a good way. so stoked to play it when it releases
this game was pretty much non existent to me, but now that im seeing some actual gameplay i have to buy it. it looks so different than everything else. i gotta play it.
im really hoping mass effect 3 becomes one of the best games i have ever played. im still a little worried after the release of dragon age 2, but its easily one of my most anticipated games.
@snukatheman above
yah there are 2 on ps2 (yakuza and yakuza 2) then 3 and 4 are on the ps3. plus the various spin offs that never made it to the west. thats why im hoping yakuza of the end makes it to us, but with the other releases im pretty confident they will. i was one hoping for an hd release as well though, with trophy support. would be pretty sweet.
i enjoy great graphics, but truth be told im one of the gamers that dont care about graphics. its not a make or break situation if the graphics aren't the best. a lot of the times though it seems that when developers focus to much on making the most visually impressive game, everything else under delivers. its not like thats the case for every game, but pretty common for this gen.
yah i think thats why i became such a huge fan of the yakuza series. it was about as close as ill ever get to playing shenmue 3. there are a lot of similarities but also a lot of differences. both are some of my favorite games though.
hahaha game is looking so much fun. i hope sega keeps their track record going and releases this in the west.
i think it drops around mid september. basically like a month from now, give or take.
yah i dont really expect to see to many major changes from ps3 to ps4. im sure there will be an overall higher quality for everything, generally speaking, but it just dont expect to see anything thats going to necessarily blow me away.
the distinction between each gun sounds awesome. borderlands 2 is shaping up to be another stellar title. cant wait for more co op goodness when it releases.
actually thats true and i think a lot of people forget that, myself included. yet thats a minuscule problem so gamers and publishers dont seem to care all that much. as a whole its trying to move to a 1 user system to essentially double profit off every game. were not completely there yet but its certainly getting that way.
im not necessarily against the pass 100%, but it needs to be revamped, in more than 1 way, as the current model just doesn't work.
im one of the few people who cant really get into uncharted. fun series, but a little to overly cinematic for my taste. stoked to play uncharted 3, but its probably last on my list. i appreciate the game and what it accomplishes yet it just doesn't click with me as a whole.
