1200 mb install. not to bad. monster hunter rules and i have yet to play this one so its a buy from me. yet the article said its being sold for 4800 yen which is approximatively 62 dollars. i mean have they officially priced this game for the states? if its a full priced 60 dollar game thats kind of a bummer.
i think its pretty fair to assume we'll see an upgraded 3ds model at some point in time. ive been burned so many times by nintendo and their handhelds ive learned to wait for the 2nd or 3rd model in the series.
im not gonna lie, thats pretty tempting. i just wish the 3ds screens were a little bit larger. i find it kind of hard to go from playing the xl to the 3ds, but its not really a deal breaker. i might trade in my ds lite and a few other old ds games to get it for free. not to bad.
for me, the bigger issue was the launch line up. i think that factored with the price had caused a bit of a downward slope. i mean if it launched for 250 but had an immense line up of games i would have been sold for sure. yet it didn't have the store, online features and the games were and are, still extremely sparse. it did feel a bit rushed as if nintendo just couldn't wait to get it to the market. i still want the system im just waiting on the games to back it up. if they can have...
agreed. i wish games included bots as a standard. i mean lets face it, online servers arent going to last forever. i like setting up bot matches with varying difficulty and my own options and tweaks. fun stuff. bots are what still keep me interested in unreal tournament.
its not that there is some fascination and everyone is clamoring to play the new mario on their phone, thats not necessarily the case. its just that nintendo seems to be at war with mobile gaming in the sense that they view mobile games as their biggest competition. yet, stock holders want them to transition to mobile gaming so it would be an interesting mash up if they became pressured into doing so, which i doubt though.
i want this game
another brink as in what? lackluster online? a medicore game? to much hype? "another brink" is really vague and unclear.
i have a question, an honest question. ive been seeing overwhelming praise for bf3, myself included, but what is so truly different about bf3 in comparison to mw3? i mean dont get me wrong, i cant wait to play bf3 as my pre order is already paid off, but i see a massive contradiction as you could easily write that list for many other games in favor with a few minor tweaks. i mean bf3 has the new engine and looks out of this world, but isn't it the same as all the other battlefield games? ...
thats basically the route im taking for all the europe releases. i really dont know what to believe when it comes to nintendo so im just gonna import now instead of waiting on them to make a decision with the american releases.
I still have a few issues with the game but i can only speak for black ops as thats my starting point. I cant really defend the progression of the series cause i refused to play it till now. My reasons for hating the series as a whole still have not changed i just learned to accept its a fun game with more content than most, if not all, first person shooters.
there are more cod haters than cod fans it seems. every article is filled with people who hate on the series yet constantly keep up with all the latest news regarding it, something i dont understand.
that mode alone looks like a lot of fun though. im ready to see some more footage as to what they're doing with the overall multiplayer. they're definitely building off mw2 as it does feel similar. should be interesting to see in the next coming months.
ive pretty much come to the conclusion that versus 13 is dead
i guess im buying a 360 for the resistance 3 launch.
true but uncharted in only an adventure game in story not gameplay which makes the big difference. movies are ALWAYS liner so its a tough comparison. when i think of adventure games i think of going on an actual adventure, backtracking, exploring, clue finding, puzzle solving, etc. uncharted definitely encompasses some of those feature but is by no means setting any bar for any adventure game. if they are the standard to be reached be prepared to play more linear games with 1 path being calle...
i mean you cant really adventure outside your linear path so i dont see it as setting the bar. outstanding 3rd person action game, but adventure, well no.
100 dollars would have been the sweet spot for that collection but no big deal. im sure they'll still have inventory 3 to 6 months down the line and you could probably pick it up for cheap if you already haven't.
if youve seen 3 minutes of gameplay youre missing out on the other 500+ hours of gameplay, quests, guilds, weapons, dungeons, alchemy, spells, attributes and things of that such. you can easily spend hundreds of hours exploring and traversing different areas without ever really doing anything. so yah if you played the game you would have a better understanding as the game is packed with more stuff to do than you could possibly ever imagine from a 3 minute clip.
ouch, price is a little steep. i dont buy collectors editions but i probably would have picked it up if it was 99. oh well, the game is looking awesome regardless. im ready to waste my life away come november.
i mean were not talking about a game built from the ground up on ps3. its a psp port in hd so cut them some slack. i dont think its just laziness. install or not whats the difference? unless you're running out of hard drive space or something.
