how is the online matchmaking now? i liked brink quite a bit, but when i would jump online i would be playing alone. so essentially i would be in an online bot match hahah. like for some reason i would only get connected to matches with maybe 2 people at the most, sometimes. haven't gone back to it because of that.
if they can keep expanding everything at the base of the game then im all for it. what i like about dark souls is they took demons souls and expanded upon it much more than i would have originally thought. keep that up and ill buy more "souls" games.
yah, the texture pop in is pretty bad. the game has the potential to be stunning, but as it stands the visuals are flat.... literally.
yah i had the same complaints with brink as well. i sort of hyped it up for myself, rented it on launch day and was thoroughly disappointed.

i played about an hour of rage and thought it was really fun, so far, in that short time frame. the texture pop in issue is really off putting for me though. they dont stay loaded so im constantly getting detracted from the game. after that 1 hour i couldn't focus anymore and had to stop playing. ive got dark souls to fill the time until it gets patched at least. im really looking forward to getting back into it when they work out the minor technical issues regarding the textures.
yah if they can bring yakuza over there should be no excuse for valkyria chronicles 3. valkyria chronicles 1 and 2 are great games.

actually, yah, you are correct. i was looking at the last guardians moderation above shenmues picture....but yah they could definitely follow that route. release a collection to get everyone up to speed and use that money to fund shenmue 3. thats definitely my hope, but im not holding out.
i think the probability of last guardian being released is very high. i mean yah we haven't heard or seen much, but the team is extremely small. they cant turn out a game in 1 or 2 years flat like other developers. i know its probably taking longer as they want to get everything perfect. the last guardian videos that were packed with ico/shadow still give me a ton of hope. looking very incredible so far.

im really surprised that sony has yet to put together a ratchet and clank hd collection. im still fairly certain it'll happen at some point in time, but im just wondering why it hasn't happened already.
on a side note: capcom should stop fooling around and give us a power stone re-release/hd collection and sega should release a shenmue hd collection.
