I really dont see how used games could ever hurt the industry more than piracy. They both have their negative effects but for a used copy to exist someone must purchase a new copy. Unlike piracy were there is a mass download of the title with little or no indication if the user will actually purchase the game at some point. Companies make money off some one else's work but that can be said for just about everything. Sure thats a very worn out excuse but there are vast majority of thrift s...
I agree. Journey is looking absolutely gorgeous. I have been waiting on this game for a long time.
haha yah, the online was definitely better i just wish brink would actually let me play online.
49.99. i assumed it would be the standard 39.99 but regardless this is a day one purchase for me. im just to big of a metal gear fan to pass up the hd collection.
im glad to see the ability is dependent on your difficulty setting. at least its not a pronounced feature thats permanently set into the game.
yah obsidian is known for bug infested games but ive been hearing great things about dungeon siege 3, from a technical standpoint at least. i love dungeon crawlers so its definitely my kind of game.
btw, i dont think obsidian had anything to do with bioshock 2, nor was it a pile of shit.
sweet. i always assumed there was some sort of fee involved but i never bothered to actually go in and see for myself. i might actually go check out their selection now that you mentioned it cause thats really not as expensive as i thought either. i probably should have just gone inside blockbuster instead of just assuming prices and fees haha. but yah, its pretty much the same in my area. if you want to rent its either redbox or blockbuster. at least redbox has games now so there is some min...
yah i definitely see what you're saying. ive never rented at blockbuster but isn't there also a memebership fee? i could be wrong. i always thought there were more fees included so i never go to blockbuster.
this definitely appeals to me though. i have a crazy work schedule and the only time i have to truly get into a game is the weekends. so i can go pick something up on friday and return it monday morning on my way to work. mostly im interested in trying out differe...
i was not expecting such a great list to be honest. ive been wanting to try out brink but i just haven't had the cash to buy it. this is great news. 2 dollars a day is a good price.
im pretty sure it was announced from the beginning that it was being handled by the studio that did the sly collection, sanzaru games. its good news to hear that sucker punch is now involved. i have full faith that they'll pull off a great title.
i have high hopes for this game. i want to experience the unique combination between mikami and suda51. i know ea had them scale back their ideas slightly to make the game appeal to a broader audience, but im hoping that didn't change the original vision of the game to much.
thats what ive always loved about insomniac. they are not a "me to" developer. they dont follow in everyone else's footsteps. if anything they need to look away from those games and keep their creative unique approach as its working well.
ratchet has always been an easy game but they make up for it in unique weapons, creative levels, great humorous dialog and an all around fun experience thats hard to put down. challenging games dont always make great games so ...
the wii u is an accessory for the wii? what e3 did you watch?
i seriously hope its true. epic mickey was a blast to play.
looks like awesome
hot shots golf is a great game but it never really gets attention very often.
i will forever stick with nintendo because they offer unmatched gameplay that i cant find on other consoles. same goes for ps3 and 360 as well, they have their own unmatched selection of games. yet the best games arent necessarily the ones in 1080p with multiplayer. there have been some amazing games since this gen started but i still have yet to find a platformer better than mario, an adventure game better than zelda or a fighting game on the same level as smash bros. until that day comes i ...
@frosty
well in that case nintendo did release a few new IPs in the form of some casual games but i guess people dont count those. yes, i understand that nintendo needs new ips, that an obvious given. at the same time zelda and mario are some of the best games created that get exponentially better and more creative as time goes on. the number in the series is irrelevant as long as the quality stays above and beyond and that goes for all developers, not just nintendo. sony has...
haha im guessing you have the console and a full library of games at your house? i mean how are people coming up with these assumptions? we havent even been shown any true games yet. at least be a little subjective and open minded instead of making a fool out of yourself.
Its a title that is definitely worth 9.99. Its a very unique adventure with great characters and generally something different if you've never played it before. The demo is sort of a bad example of the full experience. Its an awesome game so dont be fooled by the demo if you're interested.
edit: plus the game will run you about 10 to 12 hours. you can definitely play it for longer than that if you enjoy exploring and collecting. i mean for 9.99 its about 4 hours longe...
