Truthfully, its somewhat overpowered and cheap. I use it for every weapon because it guarantees easy kills. The players show up white hot on the scope making it no problem to stay back, scan the field of view and shoot everything that glows white. Switch over to any other scope or iron sights and you probably wouldn't have even noticed an enemy was there.

Yah, i think it somewhat depends on the tv. My bravia outputs the wii picture extremely clear. Same can be said for the older consoles. I play dreamcast quite a bit on the same bravia tv and it looks perfectly fine. Switch over to my lg and its super blurry and hard to see. Not sure why really.

This statement pretty much sums up the entire issue and problem with review scores.
There are a ton of games that define the console. Mgs4, gran turismo, infamous, resistance, r&c, i mean the list goes on and on. It really depends on what you like. Something that ive always really enjoyed about the playstation brand is the huge diverse library of different games across different genres.
someone commented on the site saying the "cheat pack" is like a shortcut pack. that you would eventually get those things at the end. i guess its sort of like EA's early unlock packs in a way. give the company a few bucks and they give you the content without having to actually play the game and unlock it yourself.
sonic colors was really great. sonic generations and sonic colors share a lot of the same concepts and gameplay designs. both are awesome games.
It will fade eventually, yes. Yet, there has to be direct competition to knock it down a peg or two. So far there isn't a shooter directly competing in the same market as cod. Sure, there is battlefield, but its not the same game, not even close. There has to be an identical style game to rival that of cod. Otherwise it will remain on top for a very very very long time.

Gaming gets personalized like its a crime to purchase used. Of course, on the flip side of things gamers will find buying a used car, a used house, borrowing movies and such "justifiable" because there are other costs associated with those products. Its extremely self contradictory.

Yah I definitely understand the idea of online upkeep, but what I dont understand is that its a 1:1 ratio. If someone buys new, sells the game and then someone else jumps online its still one person playing per copy. Its not as if there is server overload due to multiple copies of some sort. One person stops play and one person begins playing. Of course this gamer is someone new, yet what is truly the distinction if one logs off and one logs on?

I've said this before hundreds of times. The score is meaningless as you should be able to read the review and translate the reviewers point to the numerical number assigned. Sure, you dont agree with the number, but you would have to take into consideration the writers points before you can bring up any sort of argument.

Man, the collectors edition looked sweet. I wish I had enough cash to get it. I really liked the box/case for it, not to mention the really cool artbook.
I think I was the only person at the gamestop midnight release picking up the metal gear collection. There was probably like 200+ people I would say. I definitely got some weird looks/got stuck in some awkward conversations haha. It was worth it though as im a huge metal gear solid fan. Good review overall.

the multiplayer is quite fun, but are you having lag issues? the lag is pretty unbearable for me as people are literally flying across the screen haha. im playing on the ps3 and it also gives me connection issues where I cant join a room. not sure if it was just me or not.
I am beyond stoked for mgs5. Main reason being is that I have absolutely no clue as to what direction kojima is going to take the series or how he is going to tie in the story. Mgs4 had an amazing ending, but if he can spin the game in a different direction then im all for it. So far the mgs series has yet to be a let down and I doubt that would change with mgs5.
