That's what I really like as well. The game seems to have ACTUAL combat mixed with combos and various elements such as magic and melee. Not something you typically see in an rpg which is kind of cool. The combat and the rpg/adventure freedom is what is really drawing me to this game.
The game looks more action oriented than most typical rpgs. Yet, take a look at the dev team and you'll see this game will most definitely be epic by the time its done. The amount of freedom and customization looks insane.
If they could make a sonic game on par with rayman origins, that would be amazing.
Truthfully, the game should have got an 8.87. 8.83 is way to low for skyward sword.
I still get a bit of lag everyone now and then on ps3, no difference in that department from pre patch to post patch. The extended play has been greatly improved though. I used to get an overwhelming amount of lag/frame rate drops over long periods of time which has now been cleared up.
On a side note, the game has been freezing on me quite a bit. Only happens when im going between areas and im sitting at the loading screen with all the smoke. Im not sure if that was an after...
Yes, monster hunter 3g is a port of monster hunter tri for the wii. I think they are adding a few tweaks here and there, but it is essentially the same game. Although there is one exception, the 3ds version will be removing online co op. The wii doesn't have the best online functionality, but the co op on tri worked very very well. Easily the best part about playing tri as I poured well over 100 hours into just the co op alone, not to mention the single player. Removing that type of funct...
One word... Skyward Sword*. I went ahead and fixed your typo for you.
Skyward Sword looks incredible. The last zelda game I played was wind waker so I think im gonna have to pick this one up.
On a side note, I like the way you explain and present your reviews. I'll definitely have to check out more in the future.
For me, it would have to be rayman origins. Im probably the only one who would vote for it, but that game was an absolute blast to play. It was fun in the purest sense, colorful, bright, packed with content and above all, an old school 2d platformer with some of the best level design I've ever seen. Its definitely more in line with what I grew up playing. You just dont see great games like that anymore, such a shame.
Dragons dogma is looking pretty cool. Definitely reminds me of monster hunter every time i see a video, but in a good way. I just hope capcom doesn't ruin it with their dlc model.
It is extremely doubtful because nintendo will never, in the history of gaming, ever hand over their IP's to another company or console. Each one of their IPs sells millions of copies so the chance of them shifting those games to another console is 0%.
I know a lot of gamers would like standard controllers, standard harddrives, standard online and for nintendo to essentially follow and copy the strategy of every one else. Yet, lets face its, its nintendo, when do they eve...
Trading in games is great when I want to pre order a brand new release. The extra 30 percent trade in value really helps to buy the game and have extra credit left over. Thats probably the only time I trade in though.
Hahah, yah that happens to me a lot.
"What am I doing over here? Oh well, let me check out this dungeoun real quick."
Or ill look at my quest log and I have no idea when or where I got certain quests. Skyrim turned out to be a much better game than I had anticipated. So much fun.
Yes! Time to jump back into dark souls. Stoked.
Thats not a bad deal at all. Im kinda tempted to pick it up, especially since tomorrow is payday.
hellboy directors favorite game is mgs4.
You should give it a try. The graphical jump from psp to hd collection is incredible. I mean its not typical metal gear, but the game is really addicting. Not to mention the co op will keep you hooked for hours.
Your prediction might not be far off hahaha. Yet, i dont think ps3 exclusive will have any bearing on the quality of the game. They could still make ps3 lead and do multiple discs on 360. I mean, with the release of the hd collection on the xbox i would say its a safe bet that its going to be on 360. I will still play mgs5 no matter how many platforms it gets released on.
Yah, im thinking prequel as well just because the ending was so concrete. There are definitely a lot more stories that can be woven into the series. Prequel would be the obvious choice, but since that's what people are expecting I have a feeling kojima might take a different direction. We'll have to wait and see I guess. Pretty exciting stuff though.
Sega confirmed it will release stateside in march 2012 so your in luck. Its been out in japan for a little while under the name "yakuza of the end." Im really looking forward to this game as I am a huge yakuza fan myself. Seems like a pretty entertaining spin off.
