Don't trust this scummy company. Take Two will release another piece of trash game. Stop falling for their lies, and stop giving them your money. Go play No Mercy, or Here Comes the Pain instead.
This is a case where the username is absolutely accurate. The writer of this article has gone bonkers.
Since 2017 I've been focusing more on retro gaming, not because of nostalgia, but because gaming back then was freakin' fantastic, and still is to this day. Also my disillusionment of current industry practices, driving me away from almost all third party publishers at this point.
I'm more interested in playing classic games, such as arcade games that ...
lol, it won't be anything near 'incredible'. The WWE doesn't care about their games quality anymore, Take-Two doesn't care about their games quality, either.
Where is all this blind faith coming from? What have they done to earn such hope from them? The series stopped being fun to play after 'Here Comes the Pain'. The controls are too convoluted, the mini-games mid-match are stupid, using the right analog stick to perform moves isn't as enjoy...
Its certainly not as good as Shenmue 1 and 2, but I still enjoyed it enough. The worst part about the game is all the filler side quests and grinding that aren't properly tracked in game, so you'd have to use a map on a second screen to keep track of collectibles and side quests. Also ton's of missable trophies on PS4, which is poor design in my opinion. Oh, and the framerate on PS4 is really bad, especially in first person view. It literally bothers my eyes, and I haven't pla...
I've used Stadia for a bit, because I had a free trial from T-Mobile, and I had a pretty fun time with it. I really enjoyed GYLT, beat it four times! It's a relatively unknown indie game that would actually be fairly popular if it weren't Stadia exclusive. I'd love to see it ported to other platforms, but for whatever reason, it doesn't appear to be happening.
I also had a really fun time playing Bomberman on Stadia, and it honestly plays better than the...
I honestly never expected the Switch to sell as well as it has. Insane to think how they went from Wii U sales to this.
It has surpassed my expectations, and I can see it reaching 130 million within two years at this point.
Happy to see long lost games finally released. I enjoy retro games, arcade games, and of course retro arcade games, so definitely looking forward to playing this soon!
Short answer: No.
Long answer: No, because both the WWE and Take2 do not care about releasing quality products. They'll continue to release garbage, offer a fake apology, then weak-willed gamers will forgive them. Now the process repeats.
And even if they release a polished game (they won't if its coming out this year), the core game mechanics will still be trash. If you're looking for a fun wrestling game, please go back and play the 6 AKI games releas...
Rare sight to see a decent Verge article.
Its true that these consoles have had the slowest starts in terms of exclusive software (not in terms of hardware sales!) since the beginning of gaming consoles. But eventually we'll ditch PS4 and XBO, and then these systems will show us what they can really do!
Shameful trash demasters (as in downgrade), of three legendary games. By a publisher with near infinite money so they could easily have taken their time to release excellent ports. But no, of course not.
Release garbage, then have the intern tweet out an apology for releasing unplayable junk. Then hope gamers forget when you release your next hype trailer for your next trash game. Then the cycle repeats.
A simple upgraded Switch 2 is all we need with around the power of a PS4 or PS4 Pro. This way we can keep backwards compatibility with all previous Switch games cart or digital. You're about to sell 100 million Switch handhelds, don't rock the boat, take a gamble, and change it up. Stick with what's working for you.
You can't play online on PS4 with pirated games.
It's fair to assume the same will be the case in regards to future PS5 homebrew / piracy.
So yeah, this is a non-issue.
Another thing that annoyed me about UC3 events was the agent Talbot teleporting around Turkey. It just felt off to me, and made no sense.
Also, for about one third of the game, you go on a wild goose chase to rescue Sully, who wasn't even there to be rescued, and you end up back where you started again. There was simply no pay off for all the events you go through, so it fell flat in that regard as if they couldn't figure out how to make the game longer, so they dec...
I recently replay the game on PS4, and yeah the whole scenario was a bit of a mess. Like you said, it felt like they came up with 'crazy Hollywood-esque' set pieces that gamers would enjoy, then tried to fit a story around it.
It was a still a good playthrough, and I'll certainly play it again in the future, but it doesn't hold up quite as well as UC2, which does have its own issues, but they're not as glaring as UC3.
I enjoy the Smackdown games a lot, and still play Smackdown 1 and 2 on my PSP and PS Vita often. its true that Here Comes the Pain was the last really good game in the series, I bought the first SvsR and I just couldn't get into it. The new grapple system wasn't what I was used to, and I shelved the game almost immediately.
That said, I love the N64 AKI games even more, and I've been playing No Mercy frequently. Last night I got 74 eliminations in Survival mode...
I agree and its unfortunate for these devs that possess no foresight. One of the best Stadia exclusive games is Gylt, and I've completed it four times and its a game I know could be a multi-million seller if ported to traditional platforms.
I had a free Stadia subscription and honestly, I had a good time with it (wired ethernet connection), the only thing is that you can not use the internet connection for anything else simultaneously, which is lame.
...
They can certainly put it all on a cartridge, but they want to save money by not doing so. Carts of course cost way more than discs, and the higher the capacity the more the publisher has to pay for each cart.
I agree, but also it was posted on the NSO Japanese site that N64 and Mega Drive games will be added quarterly. Which means only 4 updates per year. So even with the massive price hike, they aren't going to offer a lot of games, its going to be more drip-feed B.S.
So freakin' glad I have a modded Switch, screw this nonsense.
The series is about Ubisoft making money off gamers who desire low quality, generic, uninteresting, filler titles, packed with endless, boring, repetitive grinding, and chore game design. Specifically and meticulously planned from the start to nudge dumb gamers into spending a little extra to unlock time savers to alleviate the problems that Ubisoft purposefully created in the first place.
